They are difficult to snap together. Two parts have to be attached side by side and then snapped onto the Center. Waste of time and money.

I was very skeptical. My child is 2 and weighs 58 lbs, she is very tall for her age as well. The straps were always so tight and I was finding myself having nothing else to try. I just hit order and got it, figured if it did not work I'll send it back had nothing to loose at that point. This extender is a keeper, in fact I'm ordering 2 more, 1 for my moms carseat and 1 for my other car. So much more room on the thighs. Not stuck in between her thighs, it goes a little higher, not to much, but enough that it really made a huge difference. Instead of wasting money purchasing more carseats where the same thing still happens, this is $12 and truly works! Thank you for inventing such a thing! Hope this helps someone with same issues.
