Spent much of my life not realizing that things like light switches do eventually wear out, no matter how good they are, so picked up this set when one of my light switches just refused to be a proper switch anymore. This pack of ten comes in a box with each switch individually wrapped with all the screws necessary to install it. This is helpful (though I can appreciate the concern about waste on the packaging) because it makes installation as easy as possible for newbies to this kind of thing.It went in easily to replace the existing switch, with the screws all tightening smoothly and fitting into the standard switchbox without trouble. The existing plate I had also fit perfectly around it (though the colour is slightly different.... I think that's just age on my plate). It makes a distinct clicking sound when you turn it on/off, which may be something to note for those looking for quiet switches or who have sensory issues, but otherwise works perfectly.I will be replacing all my switches with these as they begin to die, so I'm very happy to have this set and think it's pretty good value for convenience.

I've replaced 2 switches with these ones so far and they appear to be great replacements.Highlights:1. UL Rated2. Well built3. Switch action feels good.4. Color is bright white and matches my existing switches.5. The surface of the switch is smooth and well finished - unlike my original ones.6. Easy to install.7. I like the fact that these are packaged in minimal packaging so there's not much waste to throw out.Cons:1. The screw terminals are not fitted with a contact plate, so if you use the terminals, you will need to bend the wire around the screw to ensure that as you tighten it, the wire does not come lose. This is a minor inconvenience that only requires a bit more extra effort. But, do check that the wire is properly secured under the screw terminal!2. The ground screw is in an odd place, on the side of the switch on a metal plate that extends out the rear of the switch. If you have a really tight box with adjacent switches, make sure the ground screw cannot make contact with the live terminal on the adjacent screw. Make sure, if you're not using the ground screw, to tighten it before installation. The screw is not tightened out of the package.Overall, they are a great replacement with a good look and feel, are easy to install and appear built equally well if not better than my original.

These are you standard rocker style light switches. On and off, no dimming, no smart access. They do what they need to do. They have a nice, satisfying, clicky rocker, and are good for the price. Updating switches is a cheap and easy way to update the room if you have the old style toggle style switches. These don't come with face plates, so don't forget to purchase those as well, but they fit in a standard plate, so you can get covers for 1-4 plates side by side easily if that's what you need. Each switch is individually wrapped, but minimalistically, in the box, with the needed screws, so while they are individual, there's not as much waste. They're UL rated, and ready to be installed upon arrival.

I got these to update some old yellow light switches in my house. I wanted to switch to the Deco style of switch as well, away from the old little ones.I was doing the whole upstairs so decided to turn the power off before doing them and wore a headlamp to illuminate the way.Each unit comes wrapped in cellophane individually. The screws required are attached to the switch, so all you will need is new face plates if upgrading like me, or nothing if you got these to replace the same.These are single pole, so I was able to update every light switch where the light is only controlled by one switch.The quality on the units is great, size is perfect, connections are well built in and did not come loose after attaching the wire.I used 7 of the 10, it took me 45 minutes to do them all using a screw driver and a set of needle nose pliers.If you need switches delivered to your door, the are nice and do the trick! I do wish it came with plates at this price point however.
