Review for the "Halfjuly Men’s Santa Costume Set Christmas 12pcs Deluxe Velvet Adult Santa Claus Suit".WOW! Elegant and does not look cheap! The suit came brand new in original zipper bag. All items sealed and packed nicely. All items advertised were accounted for and in new condition. I bought this on a flash sale so it is a great value for the price I paid. Even if I had paid full price I feel like it would be worth it. The color is beautiful deeper red and the gold swirls on the suit are put on very well and not just some cheap sticker. I received many many compliments on the suit. For the price I paid I am extremely happy with it. Unpacked the suit and brushed all the white fur to fluff it up because it had been packed away and was laying flat. It made the suit look really good after fluffing.Sizing:I am 5'8" and 240lbs (172.72cm and 109kg) . I ordered the XL and it fits very nicely. The hat is large and fit my big head, my head size is 23 7/8 inches, hat size US is 7 5/8, (metric 61). I actually had used a clip to adjust the size of the hat smaller so it would ride better on my head otherwise I was worried it might be to lose and would fall off when I bent over to talk to children.The suits material is a little bit stretchy and seems to breathe nicely. I live in SW Florida so wearing it in the humid warm weather wasn't a problem but it if it had been warmer and sunnier it might have gotten a little too warm. The top is a pullover and is great because you don't have to worry with zippers or buttons. I could see that it could be modified if you preferred a zipper or velcro. Chest size and shoulder size were not a problem at all. I have a thicker muscular build with broad shoulders and tend to wear 2XL in shirt size because of my shoulders. This fits nicely without feeling any tightness. I don't have to use any extra belly stuffing but can see the suit top would easily allow for a pillow or something of the sort if you needed it.The cape draped around my shoulders nicely. It didn't look to big or to small, again everything fit just right. It closes with velcro under your neck. I have a thicker neck and it didn't feel to tight. It's also stretchy so it will give some. You could modify it and change it to a button and use a button extender if needed. The cape did tend to want to turn towards my left shoulder. I think this is because I'm right handed and using my right arm to wave and hand out candy naturally forced the cape to push away from my dominant arm. Maybe some velcro or a button modification under the cape in the back and on the shoulders might stop it. The cape also blew up over my shoulders a lot when the wind picked up and made if hard to take pictures without having to constantly adjust. Minor inconveniences and just passing this info along to future Santas.The pants were nice and stretchy. I pulled them up to mid belly. They stretched around my belly with no problem and held up fine. The leg length ended just below my calves when pulled up like that. I wanted a nice billowy effect. If I had worn them any lower I would have to tuck more leg length into the boots. So the pants would easily work for someone taller and with more belly than me.The boot covers work good and are a good fit. I have pretty big calves and the boot covers had enough room for my calves without being tight. I have a pair of motorcycle riding boots that I put them over and it worked out really well.The gloves fit my hands well. I usually have to have an XL size glove. These were snug without being tight and uncomfortable. I didn't have any excess room in the fingers and was able to close my hands without feeling like the gloves would rip open. You will have to be careful when putting them on and wearing them as the material is thin could very easily be torn.The belt is plenty big enough to go around a much bigger belly than mine. I don't have to stuff pillows in my suit but if you do it will work fine. I didn't have trouble with the belt falling down like a lot of people have reported but you may want to add a belt loop to the suit or velcro to the suit and belt or just get a better belt. The belt is a cheaper vinyl type material. It works fine for looks. I was able to use it and tighten it like a normal belt but could see the eyelets in the belt are already starting to give way. So it can be worn a couple of times but you may need to replace it with a better belt if you're going to really wear this suit a lot. The buckle is a cheaper material but looks nice. Again if you are going to wear this suit a lot you will want to get a better belt and buckle.I did not use the beard, wig, or glasses since I have my own naturally. :) These items are still packed in the packaging.The bell is nice but did not use.The bag is nice. Decent size. I used mine to carry a lot of candy canes to hand out. It could hold a few smaller gifts if needed.Pros:Suit fits very nice and seems like the sizing chart is correct for those that want to order.Its stretchy and breathable to can be worn in a warmer climate without over heating to badly.The quality is really good and can be worn for a few years if taken care of properly.White fur can be fluffed unlike other suits that just have some cheaper white material.Cons:The belt is on the cheaper side and wont last long. Get a better quality belt if you're going to really wear this for the season. Maybe a belt loop on the actual top so the belt doesn't accidentally slip off if not wearing it tightly.The gloves are thin and could easily rip apart if not cared for or for people with larger hands. Get your own higher quality pair if using more than a few times.The white fur is prone to the red bleeding into it BUT that is on everything I have seen for any Santa suit or hat.The cape uses velcro to fasten under your neck. It could irritate the skin if the velcro isn't closed properly or may be to tight for a thicker neck. My beard got caught in it a few times when putting the cape on. Could be modified to use a button with button extender etc. Also the cape will blow up over your shoulders and head in the wind. Could modify with velcro or buttons on shoulders and back to make sure that doesn't happen.All in all I'm very pleased with this suit and can adjust things as needed. It really nice and a good base to start with and modify with more quality accessories.

Top quality Santa suit

The outfit fit very well. I was surprised at the quality of the coat, pants and cowl. They look fantastic for such a low cost suit. Could not have asked for better with the price. The beard is a little unruly, it’s hard to keep the beard straps from showing and the liner is pretty rough, it will rub your lip raw. I highly recommend carefully gluing in a little white fabric where the liner will touch sensitive skin. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I love the fact this Santa Suit has gold accents and a cape that covers the shoulders.It ia a very eye catching and attractive Santa Suit.
