While I have no complaints as to the blade itself, I am disappointed regardless. Have a look at the accompanying photos and you will see. Now, the damage is of no real detriment to this blade, it is far from difficult to recognize the beauty and quality of this katana - the damage is strictly cosmetic. Regardless, this is not what I paid for.While I warrant an assumption of such errors having not come from the crafters of the blade themselves, rather whomever - I do believe it was Amazon's own delivery service - was responsible in its careful transportation clearly thinks very little of their job and for the customers of Eroton.I don't know what is up with Amazon lately, but something has got to give.How am *I* going to be able to fix this now? A smith of any kind, I am not. How unfortunate. Even disheartening and disappointing.Regardless if this all, thank you Eroton, for what was surely supposed to be an incredible product overall. It's too bad.

How does one remove the saya ? It looks like it’s beautiful craftsmanship but the saya won’t come off and is very tight.

I'm not a connoisseur of the katana but I felt obligated to express my opinion of the katana and company. I have bought and owned 5 other swords of various quality in my life. First the sword is beautiful. All fittings are 100% tight. The blade is sharp, flexible, and straight as can be. The extra time in some of the details was beyond what I was expecting for 120 bucks. I had a question for the company and they responded to me in about an hour. That alone promted me to review them positively. I'm happy I went with these people over their competition.

I quite enjoy the blade as a somewhat swordsman but if im going to be real it should be sharper and I lil bit more sturdy I get a lil nervous very time I use it would enjoy I better if it weren't for those things though its worth the money GOD BLESS Jesus loves y'all but swell the sheath is a very cheap wood I might have to replace it

I received the sword (blue) today and took a good look at it. The blade seems very sturdy and I also checked the straightness of the sword and it seemed that it is straight...The blue katana is as its name, it has a blue handle, a blue scabbard, and a blue spine. The esthetic of this sword is perfect for me at this price, even more than what I expected.It is a through-hardened blade, so I think it can take a certain amount of abuse. I tried to chop and stab some cardboard boxes and it went very well...seems that I do not have to worry about bad cutting alignment.

I had a really low expectation of the sword because of products in stores and ones I’ve found before but this one is not one of those. Upon arrival I was impressed with packaging. At first draw I knew it was the real deal. Authentic bamboo sheathe with nice design , thick, sturdy blade full tang. The handle is wrapped really intricately. Instructions for care. The hand guard looks mass produced but overall really nice product for the money. Wish there certificate of authenticity though.

My son loved this. The look on his face was priceless. I really liked the quality and craftsmanship. Most definitely will be buying more in the future.

Decent blade, looks nice but received with small imperfections on sheath and handle. Not worth sending back to receive other imperfections. Looks to be just quality control/manufacturing issues. Get what you pay for.
