They are difficult to write on. Only sharpie markers work and they tend to wipe off.

I love all things vintage styled. These are perfect for spices. I like that they are coated for use with oils. The design is beautiful. Classic elegance.

These labels are worthless. The surface is a slick sticker material, which would be nice, except that it makes writing on them impossible. Permanent marker wipes right off, no matter how long you let it sit. Ballpoint pen barely shows up at all, effectively defeating the purpose.You might be able to figure out how to use them in a commercial printer, but they aren't compatible with a standard home office printer (because the sheets aren't a standard size, and there's no manufacturer information for the printer to recognize the label orientation).It's a good thing these were relatively inexpensive, because they were a complete waste of money.

I like them. Just make sure you have a pen that prints well on a glossy coat. Not just any pen will work. I use a white acrylic paint pen and it dried fine, but does rub off. I imagine permanent marker would work on these too.

These are such pretty labels, I really like them a lot. However, the finish is extremely glossy, which makes it quite difficult to write on. Ballpoint pen does not work well, the fine point markers just smear off; this limits the labels' usefulness. I'd prefer if the labels had a non-glossy finish so that they were easier to write on, and I would certainly purchase the same labels in a matte finish.

I got these because the labels that come with the bottles I got are not pretty, these are cute and big enough to put ingredients on them. I will buy more...

They don’t stick, hard to peel off the sheet and glossy, not easy to write on as the ink wipes off easily
