Dietetic intern/clinical RD must have
This is a handy resource to have for any clinical RD or dietetic intern. It is ideal for when you’re charting or screening a pt, not for quick reference on your feet (some people complaining it wasn’t summarized enough). I would say I love having this as a current intern, but I also need other MNT resources along with it half the time. Good investment in my opinion and I carry it with me everywhere.

Great Resource
Already using this during case study assignments prior to starting my rotations as a dietetic intern! Great little compact resource with concise and applicable information. The organization is great and I expect to be using this for quite some time into my rotations and during my practice as an RDN :)

Convenient for Clinical
I’ve recently started my clinical rotations for my dietetic internship. This fits in my lab coat pocket and is easy to pull out and use as a reference when a patient has specific questions about lab results or they’re current diagnoses. Also useful when writing SOAP notes.

Great Starting Reference
Good to carry around and review things I don't use often. Some information could be clearer such as table 12.3 (AKI nutrition intervention and monitoring). That table confused me for a while with its different recommendations. It wasn't until I actually became a dietitian that I understood why the ASPEN guidelines referenced in that table were vastly different from the KDIGO ones. Great starter resource though and can use the references to find more in-depth information for a better understanding.Biggest downfall is how it's bound. It's too easy for the pages to come out. After over a year of use, the front and back cover have fallen off and some more of the back pages are threatening to. My food and drug interaction book has been used the exact same period of time but is bound much better and does not have this issue.

Great pocket guide
Great pocket guide, very helpful. It’s a summary of the textbook. The only downside is that the pages are thin, and they keep getting stuck in the spiral binder, that’s a little is annoying.

Almost as good as the Nutrition Care Manual
Contains essential information for the practicing dietitian and/or student. I also like that it's small and can be carried and taken anywhere. It evens has great information on pediatrics!!!

Great book for anyone who is studying dietetics or is a dietitian. I use this book religiously for my MNT course.
