TACTICAL RESEARCH TR Men's Khyber TR966 Hot Weather Lightweight Tactical Boot

I’m a mailman and trust me, I know miles in shoes!! I’ve tried about 12 different kinds and I am 200 miles on these and from day one they were better then my tennis shoes! Traction on these shoes is best also. I walk on the sides of hills goi g from box to box and I have yet to slip. Water has yet to get my feet. Worth the money if your feet are you main mode of transportation.

I tried and returned 3 other similar boots before ordering these. i trust most of the reviews posted so thought i would try one last time. Reviews were pretty much spot on. After ditching the hard and uncomfortable insole and putting in a pair of superfeet green insoles problem solved. One other reviewer complained about his toes being rubbed raw and in my boots I can see it could happen. When I put my hand in the toe area there were some rather sharp protrusions that could really do a number on your toes if the boot was to short. In summary these are great shoes but be ready to spend another $50 if you want a comfortable walk.

They are stiff so far. Still working them in. Heel is raw from the boots. I am on my feet 12 hour shifts and I have my boots off while at my desk from my feet hurting. Hope they start feeling better on my feet soon. Not sure if I am a fan of this model, but so far i know my feet hurt. I wear a 10.5 and bought a 9.5 and they still feel sligjtly to big.

I have the high top Kyber boots in multicam. They have performed great at work which requires 8 hours pounding cement 5 days a week. Now its shorts weather and my multicam combat boots might look a bit dorky but I wanted the comfort of my Kybers. I ordered these low top black boots. I've wore them this week and like them already. I will say because of the different leather they are a bit stiffer not much more than the suede leather high tops. I've already kicked under some wood pallets with the toes and they didn't get marked up or scuffed. My feet hold up great all day. Thanks Tactical Research for saving my feet!

Insole is to hard and uncomfortable, removed it and replace with a insole I like. Boots are great, well made craftsmanship.

The stile is good but it hurts the top of my foot and it’s very loud when you are moving the booth make noise when you walking.

Well made and not a China product. I am extremely careful to research before buying any product. This boot was highly recommended for quality construction and comfort. My son couldn't be happier and since he's brutal on his boots, these have held up so well. Worth every penny to have comfort and not junk.

Before wearing these boots, I developed plantar faciitis in both feet. After my feet healed, I started wearing these boots with Superfeet Orange Premium Insoles and have not had trouble for the past 2 years. I would highly recommend this combination for anyone, especially if you spend many working hours walking on concrete surfaces.
