Add to any pot for additional flavors! My racao plant dried up while I was away from home for a month this was a good substitute. It's recovering well but its still young to pull herbs from. This has definitely help our Puerto Rican family continue cooking traditional dishes.

Traditionally, I was taught to get an actual onion, pepper, cilantro, and garlic and chope it finely saute and then use it to season meats and grains, leaving a mess consisting of peels and small roots behind. Well this small bottle saves you the trouble and it gives your meals the almost same flavor. I wish it would come in a larger bottle.

The jar I got was opened (unsealed) and moldy. Won't try from Amazon again.

Pantry staple in this Puerto Rican household when too busy to make my own.
