I was pleasantly surprised- most copper stuff you get is cheap or hammered or just feels chintzy. This bad boy is heavy, thick, and sturdy. Looks amazing no matter what you put in it-or just sitting there on the shelf. It became the husband's popcorn bowl, a cherished role for any serving bowl in our family. Easy to clean and with a little care, I know it will stay looking this good.This bowl is gonna be around a long, long time. We love it.

These are the first copper bowls we have owned, both the 6 and 8 inch. They are beautiful and expertly made. They are heavy weight, pure copper, very beautifully crafted, and flawless. They are great serving bowls and the warm, radiant copper is very eye-catching. We love them! The flat bottom provides a sturdy base whether mixing or serving. Just note that copper is one of the more reactive metals, and you should avoid really salty or acidic foods which would react with it. There are lots of good articles on copper kitchenware care, cleaning, and polishing. These are definitely heirloom quality, and should last a lifetime.

I bought this as a gift and it's gorgeous. Wish I needed one for myself. I though the brand name meant it was made in Ohio, but a review of the box shows it is imported. However, the weight and look and feel are all super high quality, so I'm very pleased regardless.

I thought my eggs did whip up fluffier than they usually do using a stainless or ceramic bowl. It has a thick, heavy bottom, which is nice. I was kind of expecting the bottom inside of the bowl to be rounded, but it follows the flat bottomed shape of the base instead, which isn’t a huge problem or anything. Just sayin’, for those who were looking for a traditional French copper bowl.
