Our grandson is 22 months old and he was FINE with this bc we played WITH him and never left him unsupervised. (He *did* try to eat some sand the 1st time we had it out!) The set does have small parts but, again, he is constantly supervised. He loves the trucks and plays with the outside the sand. He loves to "pat, pat, pat" the molds and then use the trucks to destroy them. He loves the broom and dust pan to help clean up any sand that strays from the sandbox. We love playing with this sand with him!!

My grandson absolutely loves this. Great value for the money. I live that it has a foldable rubber bin for all the sand and construction vehicles.

Makes a big mess of course but my kids have played with this more than anything for the past week. Toys are perfect for the sand.

Fun item but this was a Christmas gift and the package was a mess and completely ripped so I couldn’t give it.

This is a fabulous gift for a kid! My grandkids play with it for hours on end and there’s no mess to clean up!

the kinetic brand is much better this stuff is very fine and was not easy to clean up. I stopped trying I vacuum up what falls as he plays. When it's all gone I won't be ordering this brand again.

This is a great set to keep the little ones busy. My absolute favorite part of this whole set is the foldable sandbox! I would really love to get another one of those so I could have a couple set up at the same time, but I haven't found any comparable options anywhere. This sandbox actually takes into account how a child would want to play with the sand. It is wide and shallow so kids can easily play with their sand and spread it out. Even better, it folds up for easy storage. This sand is pretty good sand too. It is like most kinetic sand that we have tried only I feel like it holds its shape a little more than others. Typically with the kinetic sand if you roll some into a ball and hold it in your hand it will sort of melt, and this sand does, but not as quickly. If you like to make sand castles and that sort of thing, you will probably really like that about this sand. I also really like that you get 3 different colors of sand with this kit. I would have liked if there was a little more of the colored sand, but really for the price of the entire kit, you can't complain.In addition to the sand and the sandbox you get lots of tools and construction equipment to play with. The little plastic construction toys are fairly cheaply made and may break easily, but they are fun to bury and to set up around your play area. They should hold up okay to gentle play as most of the sensory play with this type of set often is, so it may last much longer than I expect. The trucks are cute and fun to play with. The kids really loved driving these through the sand. The sand castle molds are also fairly cheap plastic, but they seem durable enough for use as a mold. I like that they are just cute little sand castle molds that easily fit into your hands. They are really perfect for this kind of activity. I also really like the different shapes of them to give the kids a lot of variety. My little ones really enjoyed building towns to destroy with the trucks. All of the other little sand tools are nice too. They give kids lots of options for creative play. You even get a brush and dustpan to clean up your mess after play time. This simple addition of kid sized cleaning tools is a great way to motivate the children to clean up their own messes.Despite some of the cheaply made tools in this kit, I feel that the amount of items that you get in this kit is well worth the current price of $24.99. There are tons of varied tools included in this set that allows several children to play with at once. I think this would make a great gift and is a great option to give kids a little independent play time.

As a parent I don't personally like these sand stuff because it's SUPER messy but those kids just absolutely go wild over this stuff. Do it for the kids right? There's plenty of sand to go around for our 2.5 and 5.5 year old boys. Cleaning is a challenge and you can scoop it up or just spray it with water down the drain - we play with it only in the backyard. The little construction toys are neat because they can make even bigger messes with it since the sand will go beyond the designated area.
