Do NOT recommend
I really wanted to like this garbage truck for my son. He is obsessed with garbage trucks. But unfortunately we were not happy with this purchase.My 2.5 year old just had a hard time playing with it. He could not press hard enough to pump it or push the release bar down to bring the back of the garbage truck down again. The circle pictures that were provided are useless. You add a couple circle pictures to each garbage bin and they all just get jammed up inside the red part (garbage processor) of the garbage truck every single time. I even tried to do it and had a hard time, it just got jammed up every single time (the red part inside the back of the garbage truck) I even tried it with pieces of paper and the paper just flew back out of the garbage truck. I hated this garbage truck and it just didn't work for my son. The red part in the back of the garbage truck is TERRIBLE. It should honestly be REMOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!! You literally can't put anything else in the garbage truck except the little circle pictures that came with it and even they are horrible. You can't add rocks or anything else in this garbage truck. My son likes to load rocks and cones and other little toys to dump into all his garbage trucks so when he couldn't do that with this garbage truck he was disappointed. I returned it and will never purchase again. Stay away this garbage truck is terrible and I wouldn't recommend it. Such a LET DOWN im shocked at some of the good reviews because the truck just wouldn't work

1.5 toddler loves it
OMG my 1.5 toddler loves this garbage truck soooooo much! I bought him green toys, battat those giant trucks which drive smoothly but without the bottom to make sound. He loves them! But since I purchase this garbage truck, he just abandon all his trucks.... he play this garbage truck whole day! Because this truck when they roll it the wheels makes the vroom vroom .... sound when he pushing it, that sound makes him so happy! 😂😂😂 I bought all the car from amazon, this is the one makes boy happy!Update: it’s been one years. My son is 2 and half. this toy still his fav car!!! It’s not broken, and he throw many many times on the floor.. it still very durable! I recommend it. This toy is not cheap and it’s very durable!

Great idea, not a great product
The educational thought behind this trash truck was exceptional. They just couldn't get it to work right. Age appropriateness aside, the rear loader is challenging. Cheap plastic tabs break off and the trash mincer (what sends the cardboard pogs into the compactor) doesn't do its job. The gears get stuck and rarely send "trash" into the container.I'd say the overall look and feel of the truck is solid. Kids will love it, for a minute, until they realize it doesn't work properly. They'll be left, as my kid currently is, playing with the pogs and sorting them into the color coded cans.

Orange garbage truck
My 3 year old grandson is obsessed with garbage trucks & wanted an orange one. He really liked this one & it seems to be pretty durable so far.

Trash cans are too small
This was a big disappointment. My son has at least 8 other trash trucks. Most trucks can share the trash cans. These trash cans are too small. I included a picture a standard red can, a larger blue can, and the tiny grey can this truck comes with. Can any other trash track available
