Denon DJ X1800 Prime | Professional 4-Channel Club Mixer

This mixer is well built and happened to arrive with the most recent firmware when I ordered it. I appreciate the build quality, the sweep and bpm effects, and it plays nice transitioning seamlessly between vinyl, Phase DVS, etc in VDJ and Serato.I have turntables and have not paired any Denon prime media players to the x1850, so I can’t speak on that. I also haven’t had the need to use Engine, so I can’t speak on that either.This isn’t a cheap mixer. But if you compare it in price to Pioneer’s flagship 4-channel DJ mixer, I would say it’s of equal value at significantly less cost. It has the ability to send/ return for external effects, it has 2-quality Mic inputs, a user replaceable crossfader, and it sounds excellent to my ears.The cons are: you have to pay to upgrade to Serato dj club kit to unlock Serato dj pro DVS, but for me it was worth it.If you want to use Phase DVS but not use Serato, the mixer is recognized and Phase works in VDJ as well and probably Engine, DJay Pro, etc if you mess around in settings.Sometimes auto bpm has trouble detecting bpm from vinyl (analog source), but you can just tap it in.All in all a great value, professional quality mixer that should last you (me) a long long time.

Love it, this Mixer is incredible, I am a professional DJ from the oldschool days of 84 thru 92 x NY and this Denon has it all. I bought the whole Denon Pro Series and am convinced lb.. x lb. Best bang for the $

The mixer is OK. The look and feel are good, but I bought it mainly to take advantage of the output limiter, which doesn't work for the USB output (Denon does not say that in the ads and documentation). It works only for the analog output. I've tried to reach out to Denon Support, but "Mixer" is not a product category available in the website form, so I can't send them a question about the product. Sent an email to the only address available on the Support page and had no reply. Am definitely considering returning it and buying a Pioneer, which I know has this feature working for USB (and very well, BTW).

Work great right out of the box. Qaulity of the product was great.

Heavy duty and very stable. Metal housing with tons of features. A thrill to mix. Made in Taiwan.

awesome product from Denon with good tools to use. the updating took a while but once you get it updated its great. glad to see Denon keep up with the people Want..not what industrial wants. thanks Denon

Not more than two months in I had this product and it consistently beeps at random times, sometimes the beep doesn't go away until the power is restarted. I leave it at home all the time, never left the house, no water damage or any other kind of damage. There is no solution or anyone with a similar issue when researching this product online.
