Gloves Shredded within Seconds of Use
I generally try to make things work. I wasn't able to with these gloves. I went through ten pair in two minutes using them in my kitchen to handle food. As soon as the gloves touched food, they tore and fell off my hands. They ripped as I pulled new pairs out of the box. Some pairs were already in shambles when I pulled them out of the box. Working with them was a hassle and no help at all.I was really hoping to find sustainable, earth-friendly gloves. But these gloves are so impossible to use that they are a colossal waste! I feel badly that time and materials and labor were put into manufacturing these. Again, what a waste!

Sturdy enough plant-based disposable gloves for pumping gas, opening classroom doors, dog poop.
I like this glove because I can pump gas open the classroom door pick up dog poop or touch anything for a brief period of time that may have viruses or other bacteria on it and then I can throw it away and not feel guilty about it. So that's why I bought it and it's one of the more fairly priced ones of the few that are out there and that's another purchase. It does last for these simple procedures that one must do with their hands like turning on a faucet picking up tongs at say the salad bar and that sort of thing. I wouldn't try to chop with all day with them or run a skill saw or you know they're there to protect your hands for a while and then you can guilt-free throw them in the trash.

Compostable but not functional at all
I thought about giving these 2-stars since they're compostable but what good is such a glove if it doesn't even serve its intended purpose? You wind up spending more money to use more gloves that fall apart just putting them on. Someone said they'd clean up dog poo with these; I'm sorry but no way! If you're careful putting them on they might not tear however after that they'll tear just moving your hand. I wanted them for cutting hot pepper and the fingertips tore while cutting the first fresh small jalapeno. I'm sad to say that these are a waste of money. They do break down, and that process starts as soon as you try to put on your hands.

Low quality
It’s a waste. These kept on tearing up even when I just hold vegetables.I bought another compostable food gloves. Those did not give me any problems.

Break easily.
Had to return. As soon as I put on the glove the seam broke and not because my hand is big. These are not strong and are very flimsy. I gave this three stars because they are food safe and environmentally friendly, but to thin to stand up against everyday food prep.

Will Do The Job For Now
I really appreciate that these gloves are food grade quality & compostable. I only have 3 small complaints. 1 - The box was very flat & flimsy. It doesn't stay closed well. So that makes me doubt how sterile they are. 2 - If you have large hands they pop open right away. So my husband can't use them at all. The size & durability work okay for me with smaller hands. 3 - This particular box arrived smelling strongly of cooked food odor. Like they might have been kept in a restaurant kitchen before being sold & shipped.

Absolutely useless
I have yet to use these and not needed to wash my hands immediately after. I really was trying to be environmentally conscious with some disposable plastic gloves. I don't even have big hands, but every time I slip one of these on, it tears at the seams and then my thumb and forefinger are flapping in the wind getting raw chicken juices all over them. Completely useless.

Strong and eco-friendly
I bought these gloves for meal prepping and cleaning. Was pleasantly surprised by how strong the material felt especially considering the gloves are compostable. They also provided a good amount of tactile feel. Im very happy with the quality of these gloves and feel good that they're not messing the environment like non-compostable gloves.
