Physicians Formula Organic Wear Bright Booster Oil Elixir, 1 Fluid Ounce

I have my mother's European dry skin which poses a problem for me nine months out of the year as I live in a colder climate about a year ago I started to get into k-beauty and I have been addicted ever since, to skincare.After trial and error from many products I stumbled across a YouTuber/ blogger Gothamista who was a curator for skincare for a very high end Company, for years. I figured she must know a thing or two as being a curator..you have such an in-depth understanding of what products do for different skin types. This YouTuber talked about a low price point face oil that had the same product quality ingredients as a very high-end face oils... so I said what the heck it's 13 bucks let me try this stuff I have been so happy that I purchased this!! I just ordered three more bottles one for my sister one for my mom and one just as a backup because I hope to God that the stuff never gets discontinued.After I wash, tone, and add essence in the morning I use this oil. I pat the oil into my skin and then apply my sunscreen (dont forget your eye cream too). This oil gets such a beautiful Natural Glow under your makeup it looks like you have had a 15 to 18 our slumber-i wish!!! I had people at my job asking me what I was doing differently..what was I was using on my skin? was I eating something? was I taking a supplement?I use this at night too and this oil is unbelievably luxurious it doesn't sit on your face because it's a dry oil it sinks into your skin pretty quickly. I don't get any sort of leftover oil on my pillow case or around my clothes and it smells so good! My husband asked what this new sent was when he would get close and it is the oil! The oil is not overpowering it doesn't make you break out (because I do have sensitive skin) it's just the most delicate light camellia flower scent. My skin is more even-toned more hydrated a beautiful glow I am so happy I wish that I could just get a bigger bottle and use it on my body, too.

I love the glow that I get from this! It's not overkill but definitely makes me look lit from within. I started using this twice a day after washing and before moisturizing. My skin is combination and I have always struggled with acne that I can't ever seem to shake. At first it seemed to not have any pore clogging affects but after continuous use for a couple weeks I did start to breakout a little. I am going to try to use less and perhaps use it less frequently on my face now that the weather is getting nicer where I'm at. I am also planning on using a drop or two in my moisterizer and see if that works out better. I use it religiously on my lips and I can 100% say it is the best product I've ever used on them. When applied and paired with balm I never have to worry about matte lipsticks making my lips dried and wrinkled. Truly a miracle serum for them. It also does wonders for making your lips extremely kissable. A+ for the reactions I've gotten since using this on them. I'll use this on random dry patches on my face and body. Any burning or itching that I once had in those areas has ceased to exist.

I was really surprised by this oil! Rene, also known as Gothamista, recommended this oil in a YT video, and for the price I figured I’d give it a shot.The packaging is gorgeous; glass bottle with a button dropper that’s pretty enough to display- not exactly what you’d expect from a drugstore beauty oil. The oil blend is also impressive, love that there’s vitamin c in here.I’ve used this on its own, mixed in with a moisturizer, and in my foundation. Either way, it absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave your face feeling greasy, and gives a beautiful lit-from-within glow.I knocked off a star because the fragrance is a bit overwhelming. It doesnt smell bad (mostly of lavender) but it’s potent. It takes a while to fade when used on its own. Fades quicker when it’s mixed in to a moisturizer.UPDATE: I’ve been using this oil for a bit over a year now and it has become a holy-grail product for me. One bottle lasts for a really long time too. I’ve only had to repurchase it twice.

This is the first oil elixir I've ever used and I have to say I'm impressed. Has a light floral scent that doesn't linger or overpower, leaves a nice glow to the skin and hydrates! A little bit goes a long way...seriously...I only use one drop! We are also getting into spring/summer weather so I don't need much moisturizing. I may not even use this during the summer. But when winter gets here again, this is going to be my best friend. When people complain about this being "too oily", they are either using too much, not applying it properly or they aren't giving the oil enough time to absorb into the skin. After applying, I wait roughly 3-5 minutes before putting other products on my skin. This gives the oil ample time to absorb and not interfere with the next product I'm using.

Gives me the extra moisture I need for my normal-dry skin. After washing my face, I apply toner, then vitamin c serum, then this oil, and finish up with a light moisturizer with spf (currently using Olay complete which is my fav even after trying more expensive moisturizers). I've used this recently without adding moisturizer after, and it still kept my skin moist. But this is only because it's been warm and humid lately. In the winter, I absolutely need that final step of moisturizing. I'm not sure if it's doing anything amazing to my skin (i.e. getting rid of lines or discoloration) but it definitely moisturizes my skin adequately. My skin absorbs it well so my face doesn't get too oily.

I've recently switched all my products to cruelty free and as such have purchased/experimented with a lot of PF products.I was excited to try this but find myself confused due to the lack of directions on what it actually is and when it is recommended to use it. I use this when I am going to wear makeup and I apply it in replacement of a moisturizer. I don't know if that is the best way but I do like the scent and make up goes on easily over it. I haven't noticed any 'brightning' but I also don't know if it is supposed to be used daily, or let to breath without make up being applied over it. Or if it should be used in conjunction with a moisturizer.As a primer it works nice and feels very light. But is it a primer? I have no idea....

I am in love with this! I have dry, sensitive skin and almost everything makes me break out or have a reaction. I decided to give this a try because it was organic and it has had good reviews. I use this in the morning and at night mixed in with my moisturizer, and have noticed a difference already in the week that I have been using it. It really does give you a healthy glow and it has a nice texture to it. It doesn't leave me feeling sticky, and it isn't heavy. I have worn this under makeup and I can't even notice it's there. It does have a scent to it, but it honestly doesn't bother me OR irritate my skin!

I really love this product. I bought it a while ago but but just rediscovered it. The price is better on Amazon than the store. A little goes a long way. If you’re trying to use it in the morning under a foundation, I suggest making sure you have about 10 minutes between putting this serum on and applying your foundation to allow for your skin to absorb this. It gives you a beautiful, healthy glow. I love that it’s organic and clean, nontoxic ingredients that I don’t have to worry about putting on my skin. This is a keeper!

This stuff is the bomb its amazing! I only use it at night after my face is fully cleansed and makeup free. I apply four drops and that's good enough for my face and neck. When I wake up in the morning I can visibly see a difference in my skin complexion. It helps brighten up my skins dullness. I have severe dry skin that is also sensitive and breaks out from time to time but I've noticed with regular use that its keeping breakouts away and helps control my dry skin. Its 100% natural and organic. I will continue to repurchase. The only thing I would change is the dropper, i would prefer a pump.

I am 67 with your basic aging skin with more wrinkles than I want to admit! Plus my skin just seems to be dry and dull no matter how much moisturizer I put on. I immediately noticed a big difference when I put this oil on and then put my foundation over it when I was outdoors looking in the car mirror. I love the feel of it and so far even though I have only had it a few days, I am thrilled with this product. It does not give a sparkle but a soft pleasant sheen. Hope this keeps working as well as it has so far for mature skin!

Of course I bought this because of Gothamista and she never fails me - I love her YouTube channel and if you haven’t checked her out — GO SUBSCRIBE — because she is so informative and knows her stuff (plus her skin is amaze balls, so duh). Everything that I’ve tried from her recommendations have been beautiful and worked well with my skin.This is no exception - I use this at night as my last step and wake up with moisturized, calm, plump, soft skin (I am acne prone and this hasn’t broke me out)Love this and what a great price too :) thank youuu

I'm surprised to see such high quality ingredients in this product since the price is so reasonable. I really enjoy using this. It has a slight natural lavender scent that dissipates quickly. I have normal/combination skin and have found that it works best for my skin type if I add two or three drops into my moisturizer and pat into the skin. It's not a greasy feeling oil, but if you apply too much, it can take a while to soak into the skin. Overall, high quality ingredients and low price. If you're looking to add an oil into your regimen, this product is a good one.

This product has a light sent to it but it’s very clean and natural. It does not smell like oil. It’s viscosity is somewhere between castor oil and olive oil. It does not leave and oily sheen on your skin. Our use it at night time to hydrate. I also put it on my elbows and my small tattoo on my wrist. It does not brighten the skin any more than any other hydration method. I highly recommend “Physicians Formula Rosé All Day” in conjunction with this if you would like to add brightner to it. It’s an overall fantastic product especially for the price.

I have dry 61 yr old skin. I've felt like my skin was getting dull looking. I tried this with trepidation as I have allergies to may botanical oils (Philosophy Hope in a Jar was a problem) however I really like this. It makes my skin look healthy, younger and far better moisturized. Although its an oil it does not make my skin look oily. I like the applicator, as you press the plunger down and it fills the applicator before you open the bottle. The packaging is very pretty as well. I will be buying this again.

It doesn't absorb as fast as anyone says, but I wear it before bedtime to seal in my night moisturizers. I alternate it with my Retin-A treatment cream. It makes me break out around my chin, but only once in a while. This is a definite yes for those with dry skin, use before bedtime.
