Not an Olaplex replacement, but a good treatment on it's own.
First, it does have a smell that can be offputting. 1 & 2, and the shampoo all have it. But the shampoo is the worst of them for the smell. It lingers far longer and is far stronger in the shampoo than 1 &2. I would not rebuy the shampoo and just stick to 1 & 2. If you can handle the smell the shampoo is nice, it's just not for me.The smell is not horrible, but a little "herbal" "salon like" where it smells a bit like black pepper (the kind you put on your food). I've smelled and used far worse scents in my hair. There's a reason I prefer unscented or vanilla-cake scents and products like these (or those overly fruity or floral) are why.If I can handle but not like the scent of 1 & 2 (but not the shampoo) I think most people could. I find Fanola products very strongly scented in general and this is no exception.Second, this is not an Olaplex dupe nor is it similar. The ingredients are not even close to being the same. If you already use Olaplex (0 and 2 together at home are the best if you can't get 1 and 3) and like it, you'll likely want to keep using it. The ingredients in Olaplex work far differently than this. This (1 & 2) is a peptide product to build bond. It has pea peptide in it. You mix 1 with salon or home coloring and bleaching services (the Fanola website has a lot of great resources and directions for use, you can access the pro pamplet for Fiber Fix there) as directed. Or you can mix 1 & 2 as directed together and do a treatment with 1 & 2. You could also use 2 buy itself without 1.I'd suggest using heat over this. I have both a microwave heat wrap (way too heavy) and a plug in electric heat cap (pretty hot) and a hooded dryer attachment for my blow dryer (too noisy). The easiest way to use heat is to put on a plastic shower cap and then a foil shower cap. Amazon and beauty supply stores have foil treatment hats that are inexpensive. You preserve the life of them by using a cheaper normal plastic shower cap underneath. These foil caps also work well over Olaplex or coloring (with a plastic cap under them). It's not as hot as some heat, but it does warm it up enough and is comfortable to wear. I use a foil cap whenever I use a treatment or condition.I think Fiber Fix 1 & 2 stands on it's own vs Olaplex. I use both products (not at the same time) and find they are just different and work in different unique ways. One does not replace the other (for me at least) or dupe the other formula wise.Fanola has great products (the color correcting shampoos and conditioners are excellent as is the nutri-care mask that smells like cake) that really perform well. The prices are reasonable, sizes generous and they deliver on what they promise unlike a lot of products and companies.Fiber Fix 1 & 2 does make your hair look and feel smoother and sleeker. It's a great tool. It likely won't be your only tool (I suggest still using Olaplex or starting Olaplex) but it's a good treatment that helps the health, look and feel of your hair.

In love & obsessed!✨✨
So great and amazing for my curly hair which has been through it lately! It’s a lovely lightweight texture and I really do see a difference - a lot less frizz and my curls are shinier and smoother ! And the amount of product for the price is unbeatable and certainly fills in the gap for olaplaex in my hair are routine. Is it an exact dupe no but it is very close in my opinion and I get so much product for the same price as a 4oz olaplex bottle. Also has a nice subtle scent which I greatly appreciate .

smells awful
worked exactly how I thought it'd work. for the first time in months, my hair looks and feels like hair. I was worried it was going to be a thick balm because of the tub it came in but it's got the perfect consistency where it's nice and rich but has a lot of slip to it. you really won't need a lot so it will absolutely last the full year; I may even have to give some out. for the price, I can't really complain much but I do think it smells terrible. I thought it was just a preference thing because I favor lighter fruity scents but this has a strong warm, musty vanilla scent with a hint of chemical🤢 . it was hard reading the reviews that said it lingered. I hopped on to post a review as soon as I used it for the first time to say I got the exact results I was looking for for my level 10 bleached hair and it's still worthy of a 5 star review. however, I'm coping with the drawbacks by using another scented product on top of it as well as buying a dispenser container so I don't contaminate the huge tub.it would have been nice to be able to use it as a daily leavein treatment but I hate the idea of using it without washing off the scent. I just might start mixing it with other conditioners and to see if there is a golden balance of max results with minimal casualties. I'll update this post when I crack the code

Wish I had this from the start
I only got this near the end of my bleach journey (asian dark hair to blonde) but I wish I had it from the start. I got both n1 and n2 steps and used it the last two times I bleached. After using this with bleach, I can say that my hair did not feel as "fat" as it normally does without. If you have bleached your hair before, then you probably know what I mean. When you rinse your hair after you bleach, your hair feels much thicker, almost like each strand doubled in size (probably because your hair cuticle has been blow open and isn't laying flat) and it's extremely hard to comb through when wet. This time I put two scoopfuls of n1 mixed with my bleach, processed my hair, rinsed and shampooed, then applied n2, and it really made a difference! My hair felt basically the way it did prior so I definitely think it helped to protect against more damage. I will be using this from now on to touch up my roots.I also used it as a stand alone treatment the other night. What I did was mix 4 scoopfuls into 90ml of water in an applicator bottle and applied it to clean hair. Waited about 10 minutes then applied n2 over that (without rinsing). I saw someone on Youtube do this with Olaplex and decided to give it a try. I'm not sure if it made a huge difference but I do feel my hair was not as poofy after blowdrying. I will probably do this maybe once a month as my hair is quite damaged. One con to this product though is the smell. It has a very generic sort of hair product chemically smell that I do not like. It also lingers in your hair so you still smell it the next day. if it weren't for the smell then I'd say it's perfect. But overall, I think this combined with the Aphogee protein treatments has really helped to bring my hair back to a somewhat normal state.

Good
I did not see any change in my hair other than it turning a brassy color. Great scent though!

Have they changed the formula?
First time I purchased this a few months ago, it worked amazing and had a really pleasant smell. This new tub I purchased smells nothing like the last one - has a really chemical aroma, and definitely doesn't leave my hair feeling as good. Disappointing, as the tub lasts for ages and is reasonably priced compared to olaplex.

Amazing product!
In always sceptical that products are just a gimmick but this stuff really was amazing for my hair. I have just had a full head of bleach highlights forgetting how much it dries my hair out and weakens and breaks it. When I wash it, it is so dry it just goes in to a matted mess and I'm scared it will break. I used this product and it make my hair silky smooth and feel so strong which gave me so much more confidence it was protected! Really worth the value as the pot is huge, I think it will last me a good 6 months!

New favourite!
I’ve been using the fanola reconstructing conditioner for years now and recently purchased this after bleaching my whole head of hair.. again! But this stuff really transformed my hair. I used the reconstructing hair mask by fanola first then I use the fanola fiber fix bond connecter and then the fanola reconstructing serum and my hair is looking the best it has whilst being blonde for years. I also use the matching shampoo. Definitely recommend for bleached and dyed hair!!

Same as Olaplex but cheaper
It's essentially Olaplex 2 that you use after colouring to restore hair bonds and the consistency is very similar - a cream that is a bit watery but not too drippy. It is a huge 1L pot which makes it fantastic value compared to Olaplex. I also really love the smell, makes application feel amazing. I colour my hair at home but see this working great for hairdressers due to the volume of the product.
