This deodorant is the best natural deodorant i’ve ever bought. Over the past year and a half, i have tried every scent they make, except for Sport. The first few time’s i ordered through Amazon, i received the product with broken tops, and have never received a single response from the company. However, i like the product so much, that i ordered many more, and most of them have been fine. The “cigar” scent, smells like a fresh cigar (unlit). The Aloe is fresh cut.. clean smelling, perfect for summer. One of my favorite’s is the, only occasionally available, coconut. It smells exactly like the Hawaiian sun tan lotion from when i was a kid. Love it! The “Bay” scent.. smells like you just went to the barber shop for a hair cut. Leather.. scent.. smells NOT like a watch band, but instead.. like leather from the leather shop (however the smell changes within a few hours to one i didn’t like). The same with Vetiver .. at first.. it smells like your sitting around a campfire and brings back awesome memories.. however.. within an hour or two.. it begins to smell like an electrical fire (really strange and gross). The oak moss has a nice “woodsy” smell to it and is nice for daily wear. However.. bar none.. my favorite.. is Cederwood. It smells like fresh cut cedar when you put it on.. and throughout the day. Never had to “reapply” the cederwood either. Chestnut is also pretty good.. smells like the interior of an old hotrod.. if you’ve ever owned a classic car.. you’ll know what I mean. Original scent smells like the original “right gaurd”… As for “sage lime”.. it smells clean and summery at first, but is not that good within a few hours.Basically.. as far as natural deoderant’s are concerned. This company’s products actually smell like the name implies (unlike other companies attempts). They have a large selection for men, woman, other(s). They last all day without needing to be reapplied..My only advice is to take the companies advice… apply with one swipe up, and one swipe down the other side.. another words “less is more”.. if you over apply.. it will burn .. leave stains.. or cause trouble. Adding more.. will NOT make it work better, or last longer. On average. A container last me a few months because of how thin you apply it. If your switching from an anti-persperant to this product, it will take a few days for your body to adjust. You can also do this… if you take a shower at night… you can use an anti-perperant (especially an unscented one.. if done this on the hottest days of the summer), and the next morning.. after showering, apply Sams (the scent you love the most). This will make you sweat less during the worst summer days, while still using the scent you love the most. I’ve only needed to do this a few times in a year. I used another product, which is a pad containing simply the anti-persperant (called sweat block; which last up to seven days and is unscented), and then used Sam’s as normal; during 100 degree days. Even on day’s that are in the eighties and nineties.. Sam’s works fine on it’s own.As for staining… i’ve only had one Sam’s product cause stains.. and that was the Coconut one. Because it has coconut oil i assume.. this one caused problems. However, for the most part, Sam’s washes out of clothing very well.Summary: I have tried numerous “natural” deodorants.. and Sam’s in bar none.. the best. It smells like the name implies.. last longer than other “natural” deodorant’s.. doesn’t stain clothing (except for the one i mentioned). And, even though it is expensive.. you put it on so thinly.. that it lasts as long as any other deodorant you might buy.

I love this stuff better than any other deodorant I’ve ever used. It can be a bit abrasive going on if you’re the sensitive type but for a tough pitted guy like me, it’s fine. It works really well and, the best part, there are so many scents. Try a few. A stick lasts a good long while.

Some scents are much better than others. Original is great and lasts a long time - early on, I could get three days from one application - amazing. When this stuff works, it really works! On the other hand, it's a bit gritty and can irritate my skin. My whole family agrees that the Vetiver scent smells like cigarette butts and old coffee grounds in a trash can. I tried the leather scent early on and it was forgettable. Would love a little sample set so we could try them all and figure out which one we like best.

I absolutely love this deodorant. I came across it randomly, and immediately loved it. I had tried a lot of “natural deodorants” (that still had some not-desirable ingredients) and they barely worked. At best, I had to reapply about 4-5 times in a 24 hour period to not stink completely. Had to detox my armpits constantly. But since using this one, I absolutely love it. I only have to apply once a day. I love that it actually works. And doesn’t have anything bad in it. You only need one or two swipes on each armpit to do the trick. If you are sensitive to baking soda, you may want to do a swatch test, but I find if I only use one or two swipes it doesn’t bother me. (Other deodorants were very harsh on my armpits)It lasts a good while, too! I have only had to reorder about once every 3 months.I definitely recommend!!!!

I have to start by saying that I’m really sad that I have to stop using this stuff, because it really works, and I love the smell.However, I ended up in the doctors office, with a scalpel to the armpit, to drain the pus out of the infection that came from using this product. I had a huge painful lump about half the size of a golf ball. After a course of antibiotics I was well though i now have a scar in my armpit from the surgical procedure.I initially didn’t connect it to the deodorant- I went a few months of using it again and all of a sudden I started getting these painful red infection lines and swollen bumps again. This time I spread triple antibiotic cream on my armpits, and after about 5 days of application everything went away. After a few months this whole process got repeated again. So after 3 infections now, a $400 doctor bill, and a permanent scar, I’m finally pulling the plug on this deodorant. I don’t know why it took me so long to connect the dots.Please learn from my experience and avoid!

I really like this scent and the product but there’s not very much in the dispenser.My last one had less than 1/2” of product.Could y’all fill up the dispenser A LOT MORE THAN THAT?

A very pronounced scent. Vertimer is very masculine. The deodorant works on easily and effectively through the day. I've ordered other scents too. This brand is fantastic.
