Installation would be greatly simplified if a template was included. I made my own template from a piece of cardboard ( stiffness helps ) and this made it much easier to position the srewholes while mounting my 4 light panels to my garage ceiling, but making the template added a good bit of time to the project.

Was just a smidge too small for the light panels - could have been the lights were larger than listed (1x4) - made it work. Mount is a little flared out at the bottom.

Just what I needed to mount the led panel light I got to retrofit an area by my office.

This is one of the better choices I have found. At first I ordered another brand, but that proved to be frail and more expensive. These are some of the cheapest (all are over priced). As with all of these, keeping it square when installing it is the most difficult part of the installation. Use a square or the LED panel will not fit properly. You would think these are rigid enough to remain square during an installation; they are not. Also, they are not designed, as is the case with competitors to fit with a 16" on center joist. I started with one on a joist and then drilled through were there were no pre-cut holes, to get my screws in a joist when possible. The anchors supplied are OK, but I prefer at least part of it screwed directly on a joist, to be safe. After ordering just one to test it, I ordered 2 more. The arrived damaged and it seems some carriers manage to crush both the exterior and interior box. The replacement was used so I just asked for a refund. They need to be straight and not bent at the ends or the install will be even more time consuming.
