one bag or all uk seasons
I bought this sleeping bag some months ago, but wanted to wait until I had used it a few times before writing a review. I normal wear xl sized clothing as I am broad across the shoulders and chest. This bag was a tight fit, not that I couldn't zip it up, but I like a little room to move around inside my sleeping bag, so I purchased the expander panels from the Snugpak website. Now the fit is perfect, plus I can always use the panels to shrink it back down if the weather is very cold, or open it up if its warm. I don't think I will be need to bother with my old warm weather bag again. If your looking for one bag to last you all year round the softie 9 (with or without panels SnugPak Softie Expanda Panel Summer Olive LH Zip ) will cover any weather conditions the UK chucks at you. The quality of the materials and the stitching are excellent, as you would expect from Snugpak. plus the bag came in a good quality compression sack. Fully compressed its surprisingly small for such a warm bag. Overall I would defiantly recommend it.

Comfortable sleeping bag used so far in 0-15 Celsius
A very comfortable sleeping bag that I have used in temperatures from 0-15 centigrade.I can say that with this sleeping bag, a liner and a good roll mat inside a tent, I have been warm in just a t-shirt while the temperature was about 0 centigrade. It was a bit warm for mild temperatures, around 16 centigrade, but I just opened it up (or lay on it inside just the sleeping bag liner, another good reason to get one!)I use it with a silk sleeping bag liner, and while I can't say for sure that it makes it warmer, it certainly doesn't make it colder and is very comfy and easy to wash!I also recommend a good roll mat, not just for the comfort, but for warmth too. If the ground under your tent is cold and/or damp you will lose so much heat sleeping on it, and from experience a simple but good quality roll mat makes a big difference. It does have straps to compress it, but I couldn't call it a small sleeping bag. Check the dimensions or watch a video review to see the size!

Overated big time, ignore youtube shill videos
Its just not warm under 10deg C without wearing extra layers. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but you read what it says and expect roughly that. It has no neck baffle so drafts can waft right down. My ancient Blacks £30 sleeping bag has a baffle and is equal in insulating, but it was never advertised to be more than a summer bag. This is a lightweight small packing summer sleeping bag (UK) That will keep you warm enough to live, but too cold to sleep below 4degC even with thermals on.

Good sleeping bag
Very warm bag, might need to use a liner for as lining tend to stick to you. Very snug so if you like a lot of room in a sleeping bag don't buy. But these are mummy style.Packs up quite small but u do need to crush it down and use the side straps on the bag to make it small.

Grear quality but narrow round hips
If you have a fairly full figure, you might find this too restricting. I had to buy an extender to allow for my hips. However, a great quality sleeping bag for outdoors.

Toasty and light
Unbelievably warm and comfortable. It’s worth paying for a good quality sleeping bag!

Simply the best.
The bag is constructed to a high standard, as to be expected, the delivery was we'll ahead of delivery, being delivered within 2 days of order, the initial packing of bag was compressed even more after first use, no problems what so ever thoroughly recommend it, great purchase.

All year use in Britain. All year in the Alps if you wear all yoour clothes.
Just adequate to use in the alps in the winter if you wear all your clothes but you will shiver.
