The grinder works well but a few things could be better for the kit.1) don't package the little brush down inside the funnel to where buyer doesn't even know its there, because when you try to use it its a mess to get the brush out when there's grinded powder all over it (and brush jams funnel up)2) what size/dimensions is the glass vial for transfer? The kit only comes with one and it will be trial and error to find another that fits the same. So when one vial is full youre done.Needs to be more vials or more information so you can order more vials.Overall the grinder I received works like a charm and grinds everything down to a super fine powder. There will be maybe 3-5% left on the screen that the grinder just can't finish grinding, but the bulk is ground down super fine (like baby powder/talcum powder)Over all I love it! I wish there was a larger model, or maybe a battery powered model.

Really great at creating fine powder out of something that is chunk or part chunk. No issues. Creates a residue on the grinder but turns out that's usually the part you don't want anyway. 😉

Careful guys! This product is actually dangerous to use. As soon as I opened it and moved the grinder even slightly, it produced metal shavings in the main chamber which came out the bottom. Using this with spices or anything that you're cooking with could result in you EATING metal shavings and not knowing it. The main grinder piece seems to be covered in a laminate/metallic film that comes off very easily. I played with it for just a minute and even unscrewing it and screwing it back together will produce metal shavings and the pieces scrape together with a lot of resistance which doesn't seem good. At least one other reviewer noticed this too. Probably shouldn't be "Amazon's Choice", there has to be a better spice mill out there...

I really like this. It works very well and grinds powders very efficiently. I got a few others for my friends who have shelf gardens too. we now have ground mint, thyme, and rosemary in our pantries thanks to this amazing thing. I would recommend it to anyone who needs something very hard ground down to fine powder....

Turning it one way it tends to stick and slows down the grinding process when I turn it the other way it doesn't I'm guessing that's because it's brand new and it'll eventually stops sticking the more I use it otherwise it's great, I love it!

Wouldn't grind correctly, and produces a LOT of metal shavings since it's just two metal pieces rubbing together. Get something with a real grindpiece that is safe, this thing should be nowhere near anything that serves any sort of consumption, be it pills, spices, even pot. You don't want metal dust in your lungs.

Works well but some stuff goes to the sides while grinding what ever you chose to put in to grind up.So you have to kind of tip it to the side and grind. Then tip to the other side as well. I move around it when grinding the stuff in it.. so that it lulls from the sides to the middle and gets ground up..Or open and use a spoon the move the stuff you are grinding fromthe side and the put the lid back on and grind some more.. the way I do it is the first one I listed.. Works better and easier than stopping and opening up and scraping the outer side and pushing to the middle a few times to get it all ground up.Great little machine..

Did not grind pills properly, there were metal shavings after using, rinsed out prior to using in hot water, pill got lodged in blade only part of pill turned to fine powder, tons of residue in funnel. Very disappointed.

Bought to be used to grind up my Special K. I like my cereal ground up extremely fine and this doesn't do the job. My friend Molly says it works great for her though! The bottle is also a nice touch, great for taking stuff on the go!After owning the grinder and trying it multiple times, I can safely say it is definitely not worth the price. There are plenty of other cheap or free methods of crushing cereal that work waaaay better than this.

Some of your "spice" will get pushed off to the side but that's the worst about it. Grinds nicely into fine powder. Vials attach easily to bottom to catch your nice fluffy "spices"!
