Yes, 20x20 pillows fot 18x18 pillow covers.

Q: How do these hold up machine washing and do they soften up?

I washed mine in the gentle cycle, and fluff cycle in the dryer

Q: Any tips for getting the shipping creases out? Care instructions say don't iron, and a run through the wash and dryer didn't do it :/

Mine were simply folded in a square and the slight creases came out once the pillow was inserted. For the 18×18 pillow covers, I bought 20x20 pillow inserts as suggested.
