P3 P0550 Water Meter

Loved it, til it broke. I bought in mid July (now early October) and this was a awesome purchase! It worked perfectly as advertised til I unwound my hose today, something done several times before except my hose got long!!! It was then I realized it was because this thing had broke. Not sure if it was helpful enough to buy again but I'm very disappointed it didn't last longer

Using this water meter for my RV. I use it to check water usage daily when not on full hook up in addition to gauging the amount of water I am putting into the black tank when I flush the system. Great way ensure maximum clean out and to avoid overflow mishaps when flushing tank. Meter is also a great way to ensure I have sufficient water in the tank to mix with the tank cleaning agent.

We attached this to the oulet of the trailer. We did this so we can keep it in that spot and just connect the hose to it. However, our outlet is recessed, and I cant easliy read it. So we had to attach it to the water supply side.

I use this to fill my Toy Hauler. My rig holds 160 gals of fresh water. I do not always fill it on trips, why carry extra weight? So this helps me judge how much I have added with out constantly going in and out of the trailer. But the trailer uses lights not a gauge so this allows me to more accurately gauge how much water I have added to the tank. This is necessary when I have my Can Am loaded. I need 80-100 gals to balance the weight of the Can Am so the trailer tows better, straighter. 60 gals only and I have to back in the Can Am to get most of the weight closer to the axles. Easier to add some water and pull straight in. So this little meter is very helpful.

Didn't feel like a particularly high quality item - all lightweight plastic.Seemed to work ok for first month, good readings and useful.Then display is on but no reading even though water flowing.I question the number of good reviews for this item . . . .

I use the meter to measure how much water I put in my RV black tank while washing it out. It prevents a catastrophic overfill. No one wants that mess.

We have a 5th wheel toy hauler trailer & often only want 20 or 30 gallons of water in my fresh water tank & have to guess how much I’m putting in with a fresh water hose. You know oh about 5 gallons per minute so 4 to 6 minutes should do, then worry. I’ve not found the water indicators in trailers to be very accurate at all. They may show a third of a tank & you run out or they show empty but you still keep pumping water. I read about this little water meter so ordered it. I tested & it really works. I last used this meter just yesterday evening. My wife & I are traveling cross country with the toy hauler & I don’t wanted to be pulling a lot of extra weight around but need some water in the tank for necessary pit stops, etc. I’m really quite happy with this meter & do recommend it.

I was pleased with this purchase and used it for over a year. The plastic connection started leaking so I have to replace it. I am upgrading to a brass fitting to increase durability.
