Comforter Rack Dark Walnut
I ordered this rack for my heavy queen comforter. The folded comforter fits tightly. It did require assembly. The holes were not drilled properly and in some not marked. Had to modify some of the poles holding the unit together. I contact the company and they promptly sent me replacement parts at no charge. The appearance is acceptable and the finish is good. I’m alright with the cost and strength of the unit.

Helpful tips
I needed a rack to hold some larger, random pieces of leather to store them between leather working projects. saw some people using this rack for saddles, so I figured it would hold up to the weight of multiple layers of leather (which it is more than able to do so).I saw some people mentioning difficulty in assembly. And there are some potential tight spots to be sure. This is how I did it:There are six rungs/bars on the stand. The top two and the bottom two have predrilled holes. The middle two (without holes) are held in place by the pressure of the sides (without screws). The predrilled holes are too small for the provided screws. I took a 7/32 drill bit and widened the holes on the four predrilled rungs.I started at the top and put the top two rungs in place but did not tighten their screws completely yet. I repeated the process with the lower two rungs and left them almost, but not completely, tightened. Then I slipped the middle two rungs in place before tightening all of the screws.I can definitely see the difficulty in tightening everything down if you used the existing screws in the predrilled holes.Happy with the product for my needs, and after those slight modifications, there was no issue with assembly.

Beautiful wood finishing
I bought this to build as a saddle rack. Absolutely beautiful. It’s a little difficult to build. I recommend having people to build it. The instructions are very straight to the point and easy to understand. Extremely sturdy and balanced once built.

Quality control
They need to have better quality control because the middle holes were not even drilled for the middle bars to go in. Someone should be aware that there were only four holes instead of six like there was supposed to be. That’s poor quality control if they’re letting things go out like this. I’m nervous to replace it because who knows how long it took them to find out this was happening before they corrected it. Which means there could be a huge batch like this. I ordered a second one and it was impossible to get the screws to go in properly and to make matters worse I could not even remove the screws so I could then box it up and return it. I am stuck with it and I am completely unhappy because I cannot use it it looks horrible. The screws are not tight and there’s no way to tighten them or to pull them out.

With a little elbow grease, this is an awesome, attractive saddle stand
Okay, I won't lie. It was a pain to put together by myself (read: it sucked). I highly suggest having an extra pair of hands to assist, or a drill or impact driver and wood clamps to keep the rails and frame steady as you drill the first screws. After the initial assembly, you may begin to have regrets. In fact, at this point, you will have doubted all your life choices up to this moment. It will be wobbly, and you might cry. After you decide not to give up on life, grab a drill to tighten the screws. A drill with an Allen wrench attachment is absolutely necessary, unless you want to use your own wood screws. That being said, all in all it took me about an hour to 90 minutes and some dignity to assemble by myself once I figured out a system. Once assembled and tightened, it's very sturdy, and holds my 17.5" Custom Saddlery dressage saddle plus pads just fine. Super attractive. I'd leave it in my living room if it wasn't weird to have your tack next to your couch.45 lb dog assistant for scale.

Difficult to assemble
Good quality - but very difficult to assemble. The screws were too big for the holes. Unless you’re handy and have the tools to fix it yourself, not worth it.

Excellent piece; challenging to assemble, but worth it!
I am very pleased with this 6-rung Wood Quilt Rack in Antique Walnut. It is great quality. In my home I've placed it next to an antique piece, and the two blend together beautifully! Reviews from others regarding the assembly being difficult are certainly true; the pre-drilled holes at the end of the 4 dowel rods are a tight squeeze, which makes it nearly impossible to screw in the large screws manually. To solve this issue, I had to use a drill to significantly widen the pre-drilled hole. Thankfully other reviews warned me of this, so I was prepared to take on the task. In the end this piece is just what I was looking for: it doesn't take up too much space, and is a sturdy piece with nice details.

Cute quilt rack for someone on a budget
It's a nice little quilt rack for the price. It was a bit time consuming to assemble, not because it was hard to figure out, but because not all the holes were drilled properly so it took a lot of elbow grease. It's not perfectly level after I assembled it so it does wobble a tiny bit when removing heavy quilts.I'm currently using it just for wall hangings, table runners, and one lap quilt at the moment.I love the color and the style. But again, if you want something super sturdy that can hold heavy queen size or king size quilts and looks fancier, this probably isn't your quilt rack.

2 of the 6 bars are not quite right
It is difficult to find a quilt rack, so i was happy to see this one. It is a bit pricey considering the materials. Of the 6 hanging bars - one was a bit short, and another was not well sanded and was not a smooth surface, which is not a good thing for hanging quilts. I would look elsewhere next time.

Really hard to assemble
The finished product is great and looks good and holds a couple of heavy blankets. It was next to impossible to assemble with the allen key - so brutal to try and turn - couldn't do it and had to have my husband help - never really got screws completely tight but it is standing!
