It’s a good bag to store your knives. It’s light weight. The pockets on the left inside hold your knives well. I feel like the right side can’t hold the bulkier or thicker handles of knives. I know some people didn’t put blade guards but I did. I was able to fit 2 chef knives (8inch), serrated knife, pairing knife and my honing steel (8 inch). I was able to store my plastic bowl scraper and melon baller in one of the pockets. I wish they had a strap to carry the bag over the shoulder as another option. Overall it’s a pretty simple and good knife bag.

It doesn't have a huge capacity. I can JUST fit 3 plating spoons, a fish spatula and 2 tweezer tongs along with my knife (7" santoku). That pretty much filled it up. I occasionally add my diamond steel right along the spine and it fits, but just. I love that it is compact and is easy to carry and doesn't look like s suitcase. I know I overpack it sometimes, but one thing that did bug me is that the mesh can sometimes get caught in the zipper. That to me is a design flaw because it shouldn't happen, even if full. Nothing worse than being at work and saying, "Sorry, my zipper is stuck" to your executive Chef.

This product is a great value for the price. But it does have its limitations.In the main compartment, there are 2 slots that will hold significant knives on the left; on the right, there are 3 slots, but they will only handle smaller handled knives like a bread knife or a paring knife -- they wouldn't handle my filet knife. In the center of the main compartment is a sharpening steel slot, but it will not handle one with a broad guard. The case will not zip closed with my 17" scimitar in it. The flap pockets are essentially as shown.The velcro on the wrap to hold the two halves of the handle together isn't strong enough to stay closed, but that is not an important feature to me.

Great small bag for a chef on the go or if you are working on a small line. Bag works as described. Smaller than standard chef bags..but it is great for when I work the easy pantry/fry/oven station when you only need 1 8"chef knife and a small Bunka/petty for those tedious garnish station set ups. Or a quick Stage set up!

I have a couple of bull nose butcher knives (10 inch), cimitars (8 and 10) breaking (both 10), as well as one 7 inch santoku. Love this bag. 10 inch steel has its own compartment, and an area to hold my plastic sheaths, my cut glove, and pens. Perfect for meat cutters

I LOVE this bag, I wanted something thinner and smaller for my plating kit and this is perfect. Wonderful if you are carrying a few items and don’t want the bulk. Also the color is fun compared to normal options of black or grey

It holds the basics, which is fine if you just need the basics like i do. If your chefs knife and steel are more than 8 inches forget it. If your handle to your steel is unusually bulky, forget it, you wont be able to close it. The pockets...4 are useful, the rest hold nothing, maybe your sharpie.Overall, if you need an easy to carry, easy to hide at work or in the car knife kit for just the basics, go for it.

Isn't my favorite, as it run small to include the knife set, forgot it if they have regular size handles on the knifes, but if you plan to include just few (3-4) chef knife it would be good.In all the pictures the bag looks like is has side protection, but it doesn't The zipper feels flimsy
