This is the one to buy
Excellent quality, smell, and taste. Good value too. I use it on top of popcorn. It is a way healthier option than butter. A little goes a long way.

Seems like a good product
This is one of the few healthy unrefined oils that I cook with and it seems like a really good quality.

LOVE IT !!!!
I try to be health conscious, and am impressed by this great, unrefined saturated oil- its a completely different story compared to refined palm oil- which is not healthy for you. The orange color is from all the vitamin A and it has a good deal of vitamin E, too. But its the taste- the fabulous taste of this red palm oil that makes it such a must have in the pantry. I use it all the time. And when we have guests and I makeomelets or scrambled eggs for them, they rave about it. Its great to saute any meat- adds both tremendousflavour as well as a beautiful caramelized color. It tastes so good, that sometimes I just spread it on a cracker. The price is great, too. If I could, I'd give it ten stars. I buy 2 jars every 6 weeks, and I always use it up.

A Flavorful Journey of Sustainability and Quality
One of the most captivating features of this red palm oil is its vibrant and rich color. The beautiful deep red hue is visually appealing and immediately adds a touch of elegance to any dish. Cooking with Nutiva's Red Palm Oil has become a visual treat, as it infuses my creations with a captivating burst of color that entices both the eyes and the taste buds.Speaking of taste, Nutiva's Red Palm Oil delivers a flavor that is nothing short of delightful. It possesses a unique and distinct profile that is rich, buttery, and slightly earthy. This flavor adds depth and complexity to a variety of dishes, whether I'm stir-frying vegetables, sautéing meats, or even creating flavorful dressings. The oil's taste is both memorable and versatile, making it a truly remarkable ingredient in my kitchen.

It's yellow and maybe plasticy. . .
This palm oil is not red like it seems from the photo - it's yellow / light orange. I read on an African site that the yellow is not as good as the true red. Not sure if that's right though.I've never had red palm oil before and I bought this as an experiment after learning that it's relatively healthy (thinking it was all cheap and in snack food). I tasted some plain to start off. The taste was OK at first (very buttery), but it had a plasticy / stale after taste. Maybe that's just how palm oil tastes. IDK because I've never had it before. Then again, I hate the taste of olive oil and think it tastes plasticy too and never understood why people use it, so it could be just me.Anyway, it wasn't that bad, so I made cookies with it anyway. I used 50% butter and 50% palm oil (I normally use 100% butter). The cookie dough was greasier than normal and the chips got a oil coating on them and they almost fully separated from the dough. It wasn't a problem though after mixing a lot. The dough also didn't stick to the utensils much like it usually does. And it was a thinner consistency. The cookies cooked at the same rate and came out looking the same. However, they did stick to the tray more - strange cause it was the opposite earlier. The taste test: The cookies were still great, but I did notice a subtle difference. Not necessarily plasticy. They just didn't taste quite as "fresh". Don't get me wrong, they were still good. The aftertaste was like as if I had eaten a store bought cookie even though the main taste while eating it was fresh. It made me smile cause now I think I can pick out the subtle palm taste and sense it in a pre-made cookie.Overall, the cookies were still like 90% as good as normal, but would I buy this again? I don't think so. Maybe I'll get used to it and start to like it IDK. I'm definitely going to finish the container though. It's not worth throwing away.
