I bought a table top tree specifically for this polar bear. I have polar bear ornaments and this polar bear and his baby sit next to the flocked tree.

This is absolutely adorable. The baby on the mama’s back is so sweet. It is fairly small in scale for the price and isn’t stuffed (feels like the body is styrofoam) which is why I gave it 4 stars. It is being used as a decoration on our Christmas tree skirt along with a penguin. They look like they’re having quite the conversation. Very happy with my purchase, although I feel it is overpriced.UPDATED REVIEW: After posting my initial review, I have sadly made the decision to return this. I decided it isn’t worth the price, since it is basically paper mache covered in fur. My search continues.

This polar bear mama and baby decoration is very cute, but I was expecting it to be a little plusher and more substantial. It is just some kind of a shaped form with fur attached. The bottoms of the mama's paws are a discolored yellowish plastic, and the pine needle collar around the mama is made up of stiff, poky wires. Also, there are some hard glue or plastic spots on the fur. Still, I am looking forward to putting it out at Christmas next to an animated Santa Claus that we have.

I got this so we could put it up at Christmas but the problem is it is so nice looking we decided to just leave it up until after Christmas.It is a nice size too and feels wonderful. I was concerned with this type of faux finish on the polar bear that it would come off but I happy to say it does not come off at all.It is pretty cool seeing mom polar bear giving her baby polar bear a piggyback ride.we have had so many nice comments about it, I have several friends wanting to order their own.We are saving the box that it came in, as this will be the perfect box to pack it up in after Christmas, of course it may become a permanent piece in our home.Fun to look at and a nice addition to our Christmas decor.
