Expensive but they do the job and look good
I have about 50 of these garden steps. I got them so I don't have to walk in the water/mud when I go outside to the garbage container or to turn on the exterior faucet. They are fairly expensive, but look good. They are sturdy if installed correctly and put on a flat surface. They come with a very thorough and easy to read instruction booklet. When installing, install on a level surface and if it isn't level buy dirt or sand or get out your shovel and level the area. Don't put them over a hole or dip as your weight may crack them even though they are reinforced on the bottom side. I bought paver sand to level the ground but found I should have bought dirt because the sand compacts so much. They come with 4 spikes each to attach to each of the 4 sides on the bottom and push into the ground. The spikes go into the ground 4". The first batch I bought had larger spikes than the last 2 orders. And the spikes look cheesy now. However, when the spikes are attached, they still hold very well into the ground. Do not put patio furniture or chairs or objects that may punch through on the garden steps. The bottom is reinforced with cross members of plastic in a grid pattern - but the steps are basically hollow. They are made ONLY to be walked on as in a pathway. For me they do what I wanted them to do. They are so much nicer to walk on than the wet dirt and mud I used to have to deal with. Also, I think they look nice. They can be pulled up with a pry bar, hammer, etc. (without damage) and moved if you need to do that.

Worst packaging ever
I have never seen worse packaging, I bought these as I was hoping for a quick easy way to decorate. There was so much plastic attached to each stake you need a tool kit just to get them apart. I am not sure why they don't just include a separate bag with stakes. The stakes were so friggin difficult to insert into the tile, you need a hammer and a lot of patience. The prep time to get the tiles ready to put in ground tools me hours (16 tiles). Wanted to love them and they look ok but are kind of cheap looking. Not sure if I will end up keeping them in my garden, very disappointed.

Terrific product and customer care.
Tile looks great! Very light weight and sturdy as well. Particularly like the rough surface to not only make it look and feel like natural stone but not slippery as other molded plastic stepping stones I have had in the past. On a side note, let me just say how attentive to the customers this company is. They were able to quickly reach out back to me and fix an issue I had with no questions asked. They truly stand by there product and have won me over!

Just a Little Addition That Made a Big Difference
I moved into a condo with a long-neglected back yard last fall. This summer was my time to plant some rosebushes, hydrangeas, and a Japanese maple (most from Amazon, believe it or not)--they still need time to mature (although so far they're all doing well), and it's really hard to grow grass because the soil is so depleted (I WILL get it to work!), and everything still looked kind of sloppy and undefined and muddy. I would have preferred to use real stone, but it would be really expensive, really heavy (good luck getting it delivered!), and hard to put down without hiring someone. I really enjoy the work of doing it all myself.Anyway, these arrived today, and I kind of wove them into a pattern around the two really old fig trees out there. It took me a while to get the hang of getting the spikes in place on each piece, but once I did it was relatively easy to lay out the stepping-stones (it's the one time I've ever wished I weighed MORE than my 110 lbs., because I needed the weight to kneel on them and get them firmly placed in such hard ground). I'm REALLY happy with the result! They are sturdy and really do look like real stone, and they brighten and give definition to my work-in-progress garden. I'm kind of proud of myself for getting it done (I'm 59, so some people think I've got one foot in the grave and can't do this kind of stuff). And I really like the way it looks. I'm going to wait until next spring to decide if I should put a few more down (it depends on my luck with grass/clover/wildflower seeds in the areas not covered by the stones), but this was a good purchase. My fingers do hurt from getting the spikes in, though. But they will keep the stones in place nicely.

Lovely addition to my walkway at home!
Love these! I have them as a path between our outdoor shower and patio. They look amazing, but more importantly, they have a textured surface so my grandkids don't slip on them easily.
