The magnet just isn’t strong enough when I out there phone in my bag as I get it out magnet falls off which is such a shame as it’s beautifully made.

I like the slim design of this phone grip. However, in just three days of use, the adhesive holding the ring to the magnetic base gave way causing my phone to drop.Would be much better if it were all one unit and not have the critical joint holding an expensive piece of equipment be just a dot of tape!I updated my review from 1 to 3 stars based on the customer service response I got. They refunded my purchase and promised to make improvements on the next upgrade they make.update July 13, 2021 - 5 Stars are now warranted!The "Aporia" company actually cares about the product they are putting out! They listened to my suggestion and made the ring component much sturdier by physically attaching it to the magnetic base instead of the original adhesive backing.They sent me one to try out and it is performing just how I hoped. Very solid, slim and comfortable.Thank you for listening, and congratulations on this superior product!

UPDATE 9/16 - Customer Service is still fantastic - I've received the latest version with both the metal rivet and a reinforced outer ridged circle and it's holding up great. I use mine with a MagSafe case and the magnet is strong and holds my iPhone 12 Pro Max well. It's great to be able to remove it quickly, no sticky business, no blocking wireless charging... just pop this off and stick it on the MagSafe charger / stand, then pop it back on when it's time to go again!UPDATE 8/29 - Customer service at this company is EXCELLENT, and I've received V2 of this product to replace my broken one. The new version is definitely improved - I'm about a month into using V2 and it's a great update, with a few minor areas for improvement still. The ridged outer circle has fallen off again (see photo), and unfortunately, I was sitting on a deck and when it fell off it dropped through the slats into the abyss so I wasn't able to double stick it back on myself this time. That little circle was covering the best update of this version though... the big upgrade in V2 is that the main component is now attached via an actual mechanical attachment (see center of photo) and not just an adhesive that will ultimately fail over time with the tension of the magnet. It's impressively strong and secure! The rotating components have loosened up a bit again, but everything is still usable and I'm able to position it firmly if I'm setting it up with intention. This is definitely a product I can't live without - combining this with the MagSafe Charger (Apple Store) and Aporia's MagSafe Charging Stand makes my phone is an incredibly versatile productivity workhorse that's functional for heavy use in any situation!Pros:The magnet is solid - it feels secure on the phone directly or with a MagSafe case. I want to love it for this alone, but…Cons:Just about everything else.Center ridged circle was applied poorly and had dislodged before I even got it. I tried to recenter it and press in and it just isn’t going to stay.The 360 ring is great but it became VERY LOOSE, very quickly. It’s still helpful for grip backup but has no actual support, and doesn’t work as a stand at all.We’re about a month in and the ring has lost all tension and flops around, rendering it all actually useless. Not sure if this is typical, but not impressed.

Great concept but wish the magnetic part was stronger. It holds up well for everyday use but if holding the phone in a crowd or bump into something while using the ring, the phone will fall and get detached from the ring.Update July 24,2021:Ring fell of the magnet disk while holding my phone. Luckily for me my phone fell into my lap. I honestly can’t recommend this product. I know if companies make an expensive product and don’t go cheap on the materials and make, people will pay extra.Update July 27: Company contacted me and offered me a refund or an updated product. I requested an updated product in hope it will be better. I appreciate great customer service and companies who value constructive feedback. Truly a company with ethics.
