6061 alloy. This is a very weak alloy compared to real baseball bats. The standard is 7046 alloy. If hitting a real baseball this bat will bend and dent easyily. This bat is made for tee ball- don’t use for real baseball.

Q: What size is correct for a 4 year old

This was by far the most popular bat on my 4-6 tball team. Only kids who didn’t use it were the 6 year olds or the bigger ones.

Q: So is it a baseball or teeball bat? Both are listed in the description but they are different leagues that use different bats.

We got it for both our sons playing different levels of baseball. One was being pitched to from the mound and the other was from closer. The one being pitched to from closer, it has worked great for 3 seasons. The other, it dented from the first day in the batting cages. I would say it mostly depends on the speed of the pitches than anything.
