These look great, but both sides of mine have a small amount of play if you use the top quarter of the paddle to shift. I've found in normal usage of the paddles you rarely feel it but just a relevant note on fit.At the end of the day, for $25 they are good enough and I do plan on keeping them as the play isn't enough to be worth changing them out for something more expensive.

If installed correctly they have no wiggle. Super easy to install on our 17 GTI. Had I realized it was so easy I would have put these in my Alltrack instead of the stick on ones.

I got these for my 2015 GTI Autobahn for looks. I will probably never use them but they look very nice and give a lot more personality and sportiness to the car. Be careful when installed because the paint can easily scratch which ended up happening to me when I pliers rubbed against it just a bit

These paddle shifters are fantastic. Durable metal, super easy install. Literally the easiest and cheapest upgrade for my MK7 GTI. I've used these for a month or so now and the right paddle got in the way one time. My hand bumped it accidentally otherwise they don't get in the way much. Look super cool and work great. I recommend.

So after doing further research turns out the paddles are ONLY meant for the gti and R models. The sportwagen, alltrack and base model golf have longer and easier to access pins that will have to be removed in order to swap out. For those with longer pins it’s super easy and quick. It’s unfortunate because these look really nice and feel solid. Too bad I can’t use them.
