EverBritePen Light, LED Penlight Flashlight with Clip, 12-pack for Hurricane Supplies, Batteries Included

These are great little flashlights. I've got a collection of quite a few AAA flashlights, but these inexpensive flashlights are definitely one of my favorites. I've been looking for a simple light that's as small as possible and not too bright, because very bright lights cause a lot of glare in close quarters. I am a caregiver for my father, and I use this flashlight a lot at night in his house and when I'm helping him it's usually in my mouth. These lights put out a very nice even light that has a nice neutral color. My Streamlights tend to have a greenish light and since they are a lot brighter I don't like the glare they produce. I have other lights with extra features, but these are quite a lot bigger and heavier. I've purchased some inexpensive "MXDL" flashlights on eBay from China, but the LEDs in these went bad right away and were a complete waste of money. These are well made flashlights and have worked very well with no problems and have very good battery life, even with the cheap batteries they come with. The 12 pack of lights is inexpensive enough that I can afford to give these away to my family members, especially my young nieces and nephews whom never seem to be well prepared.

I expected these flashlights to be low quality single 3v LED pieces of crap but they were actually pretty decent. In comparison to my Streamlight Stylus Pro, these flashlights are weaker but not by far. The light is more blueish on the Everbrite flashlights and the center mass of the beam is smaller than the Streamlight but still throws the beam as far. I could comfortably go on a hike at night with the Everbrite just as I could with my Streamlight.Build Quality:This is the only portion where the Streamlight really wins. Though the Everbrites aren’t horrible, they are a lot lighter than the streamlight and are made out of a lower quality aluminum. The tail cap bush button is a cheaper non-silicone plastic and the clip looks like chromium die cast. Batteries rattle around inside of the flashlight where they don’t on the Streamlight.But we are comparing 12 flashlights with batteries to 1 flashlight that costs the same. In this case, they are AMAZING for the price and are not a regrettable purchase. I keep 1 in my car, 1 at work, 1 on my nightstand, 1 in my kitchen, 1 in my garage, 2 in my bug out bag, and gave the rest away.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! Stream Light you better step up your game. After warranting 10 or so stream lights. Each one wasting a 1/2 our of my time on the tool truck at work I decided to try these. 3 months later I am still using the first light (I have had to replace the batteries). I use my flashlights hard at work all day. They get dropped, chemicals get on them, and about every other bad thing you can do. I am still using the first one.

I didn't really expect these things to be the dynamite things they are. Solid aluminum parts, the pocket clip can be popped off and put on the other end of the light, backwards (allowing the thing to be clipped to a ballcap hat visor as a headlamp. Including batteries. I guess I was expecting something like those aluminum tubing with rubber bulb: "pokers" (I call them) used to poke the digital keyboard on your phone if you have adult, not pre-teen sized hands. No...these have a solid feel to them.EDIT: I bought another package of these things! As a Genuine Old Fart, I frequently need help seeing what I want to look at. And these little gems fit in my pocket and come to my rescue more times than I can tell you.I have 3-4 Coast C19 flashlights. Always have 1 (sometimes 2) in my pocket so if my old eyes can't see something clearly, I can shine a light on it. These EverBright pen lights are perfect for that mission. And feel as durable as the Coast items.The switch is a little stiff but I presume it will loosen up a little with use, and even if it doesn't, I'll get used to it.Heck nearly a lifetime supply of these things for less than $30. Can't beat that with a stick!

High quality and very bright! Great for nurses!I’m a neuroscience nurse so we do neurological checks every 4-5 hours. I can’t tell you how many pen lights I’ve lost, but 12 for $20, can’t beat that for the quality and quantity you get. The penlight is button initiated and you press once for on (stays on) and again for off. The clip is strong and can hang on to pockets very well. Thanks!

My son bought these as part of our stocking stuffers this past Christmas. We have chickens and I’ve used my flashlight almost every night to go and close them up. Not only that, I’ve used this to go into the coop at night to dust the chickens, which takes 40 minutes. I have a couple of skiddish chickens and I was a little skiddish with catching them. Sometimes I would have to turn the flashlight on and off multiple times in a couple of minutes to try to catch the skiddish birds in the dark but still know where I was going. They’re lightweight. I am able to hold the flashlight between my teeth, or tucked into my winter hat so I could use both my hands to work. The flashlight is a great size too. I’ve been able to easily keep it in my sweater/jacket pocket or my very small purse that has just enough room for my wallet, handkerchief, and phone, and now my flashlight, on occasion.The only con is they may seem cheaply made. But I don’t necessarily think that’s a sign they won’t last. Some of my things that have lasted me 3+, 5+ years were considered cheap as well, but they worked well anyway.

These are particularly nice to have as they are colored. You can leave them on a the workbench and due to the color they are quickly recognised amid other tools.
