San Marcos Chipotle Peppers In Adobo Sauce,7.5oz, (Pack of 4 Cans)

I have just finished up my final tin of these wonderful chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.We bought the 4 pack some time last year and we have used them to make fabulously authentic tasting beef chilli, smeared it over chicken breasts, stirred it into soups and made dipping sauces out of it. You cannot believe how they can transform a dish with their smoky heat. They are hot, but you can use as much or as little as you prefer.What we discovered worked really well was once a tin is opened, put it through a liquidiser to create a chunky sauce, and then portion it into an ice cube tray. That way we always had little portion sizes ready when you need them and there is absolutely no waste. The little iced cubes melt pretty quickly in whatever you are making.I can't recommend them highly enough and its such a shame Amazon do not stock them anymore.

Have seen a number of recipes with these chillies in the ingredients. Bought the pack of small tins as I thought more likely to keep fresh. The flavour is rich and smokey. Take care when using for first time the chillies are very hot and the sauce medium. I took about a third of the tin and chopped the chillies with the sauce in a chopper. Easier to use and to adjust the desired degree of heat. Def. recommend to anyone who enjoys Mexican food.

My goodness I love these little babies. As a regular visitor to Texas to see family and being used to very spicy food, I tried a can a brought back from a trip. There are either 5 or 6 peppers in a rich and hot tomato based sauce which we use in pulled pork and chicken recipes cooked in a slow cooker. Great taste, great quality and very reasonably priced. Will order again to make room in my case for other Texan goodies!!

These have that great, smoky chipotle flavour! They are quite hot. The sauce in which they are packed is an added bonus and should be used along with the peppers. Yummy!

i loved this product. very very spicy so not for the faint hearted. absolutely wonderful, The thick sauce is amazing. i tied the peppers with everything!
