I've taken different probiotics in the past, including the ones in the little yoghurt drinks. I have Crohn's and probiotics are one of the few supplements that have at least some scientific benefit for it.I was originally looking for something to help with concentration and "brain fog". This is a probiotic with a fairly high dose of B Vitamins thrown in to help mental performance. I thought great, two birds with one capsule. There's also some studies on probiotics and the "gut brain" which show a positive influence on mental health.Firstly, I have have only taken ONE capsule daily for 6 weeks, they actually recommend you take TWO, ideally with food. That MIGHT explain why I have not noticed much difference. I have noticed a slight boost in my concentration levels but that could be placebo and any case its certainly not significant.On the positive side, I have tolerated them well, with no side effects. In the past I have found some probiotics can upset your stomach but these are absolutely fine for me.I'll try increasing my dose and report back if there's any change. In the meantime, nothing to report but your mileage may vary.
