Cam angle adjustable.. brilliant!
On searching for a suitable euro cylinder to fit our garage door after investigating the geometry of the current one.. I couldn't find a cylinder who's cam position matched that of our current one at rest (key out 'rest/zero' position.. cam stuck out of the side of the cylinder). I watched a few videos on the inner workings of a eurolock and how to dismantle them, thinking I'd have to alter the cam angle of any new cylinder I bought (all listed items of the 40mm had the cam 'inline' with the body of the cylinder at rest/zero key position). I chose this lock simply because it was cheap and had all the 'anti everything' features... this was whilst thinking 'I could possibly end up in a pile of springs and tumblers' while attempting to dismantle a new cylinder for the cam angle change. Cheap.. meant I wouldn't be crying if I did mess it up lol. However, on arrival, with my subsequent close investigation and strong cup of coffee (to have my wits about me for the hideous, sensitive, dismantling task ahead).. I discovered a beautiful little feature on the opposite end of the barrel to the key socket. A small spring loaded button centred in that end of the barrel. On depressing this small button in a few mm's, the cam unlocked from its position.. allowing me to rotate it freely in 90° degree steps. When the cam reached one of the 4 set positions on the barrel, the small button clicked back out, firmly loacking the cam into that new angle. The sigh of relief that emitted from me that day could be heard in the beta-reticuli system. A lone tear of joy welled in my eye and rolled down my cheek. I looked up into the sky and thanked the almighty Jeff Bezos for this wonderful small fragment of innovation. It's a good lock... especially for the money. It has a mixture of smooth and flanged tumblers preventing picking and bumping. It has a pair of hardened steel pins driven in up front.. just behind the key face of the cylinder that will snap the tips off a drill bit. There is a heavy groove cut into both sides of the cylinder, creating a fault line where the lock will snap. This leaves 2 flanged tumblers left, engaged into the remainder of the barrel. This will cause great annoyance to someone attempting to pick the remainder of the lock due to the depth into the door they'd have to work at. The standard lock picking tools won't work at that depth and angle. All in all.. well made cheap and clever. I stand impressed xx

Perfect fit to my old Yale lock
This size is exactly the same to my previous Yale garage lock. Just changed without any difficulty. Keys are also in good fit, got the lock opened and closed smoothly!

Easy to use
So easy to use this. Just remember to leave the key in when fitting it. Also taking the old one out. No need to wait for a ‘man’ or pay loads out to get someone else to replace the lock. It’s 1 screw on the inside of the door and push inside out to take old one out and out to inside to put new one in.
