We went to the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado where the sand can get very hot and these were comfortable and blocked the heat.Minimal sand got in them and they worked great for hiking up the dunes.When I got them I was nervous because they felt too tight in the toes but they broke in the first time I wore them in the sand and were very comfortable. I wore them multiple days in a row without any blister issues or discomfort.Definitely would buy again!Only wish they made kids sizes.

The design on these are great(people are always asking about them when I wear them), the fit is perfect and it really came in clutch to protect my feet from the crazy cold sand and the scorching heat on the sand. I really wanted to love these but I can't because they let in sand. The sand that gets in doesn't bother your feet at all but the clean up is annoying if you're not ready for it. I'll keep them and use them as they perform well and keep my feet safe.

I haven't been wearing them for too long but it seems these guys hold up even when you are off the sand. I've been wearing these in public, on asphalt, concrete, gravel, dirt, and my next goal is to go hiking up a mountain in them. I might bring a pair of hiking boots with me in case they give but i genuinely dont think they will give. They are a little slippery off the sand but again, these are designed for sandy terrains, as advertised. Very protective for your feet with the kevlar souls, and it truly does give you that natural barefoot feel. Tiny little bit of fray on the seems, but a tiny dab of shoe goo gently spread across the seems seem to prevent any more damage, and again I am wearing them off the sand so that's probably the only reason the seems are fraying at all, and it is not enough fray to make me concerned for the shoes health because it really is only a tiny amount.

Feet do not get cold in the sand when playing winter ball anymore! I like to layer them over another pair of socks for some more warmth. Can't wait to wear them this summer

My daughter plays beach volleyball in central California where during the summer we regularly have 110+ degree temperatures. These socks have absolutely saved her feet from the boiling sand. The different patterns are super cute too!

I had a pair of Sam socks that were just cheap that I ordered a few years ago. They were a little bit thicker material. No sand got in them and they lasted me for about 3 years before they started getting holes in the bottom. When I looked into ordering another pair I came across these and these are evidently the name brand for beach volleyball and things like that. They only go to a size extra large and that size is too small for my foot. The seams that are on the end are terribly uncomfortable and dig into my toes. I don't know how this doesn't affect everyone because the seam is at the very end. So everyone who wears these is going to fill those seams on their toes and it is very uncomfortable. Even if they had a size larger. I don't know how it would feel any better on my toes, especially walking in the sand pushing on the top of my feet. It's just going to rub a blister. The quality of these is really good. I like the thin material. It's very breathable no sand got in. I just preferred the cheaper ones that I bought years ago. That's just a personal preference. So if you wear a shoe size 12 or larger, just to know that these are going to be pretty tight and more than likely uncomfortable.

This is my first season playing sand volleyball and these are great to prevent sinking into the sand (comparatively without them). I feel I am able to jump off much better without feeling stuck and grounded. I wear size 11 shoes and these fit well. Only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer is to extend the Velcro strap to tighten these tighter.

Yo realmente los uso para estar en casa no me gusta ensuciar mis calcetines y tampoco estar totalmente descalza porque me salen callosidades.Esto me permite mi pie se expanda y camine cómoda en la casa y el jardín, son económicos y de buena calidad llevo 3 meses usándolos y siguen en perfecto estado los uso todos los días

I purchased this product beginning of June and after a month at the soles I've started having holes.Product was efficient and good during the time. I did have a bit of sand in my socks. Very dissapointed by the fact they are expensive and break after less than 2 months...
