Q: How effective is this vest? Does it make any noticeable difference?

It works great on my body, I got male boobs problem, it does flatten my chest and hide moobs, the built in adjustable belt is smart design which provide extra compression to make waist slimmer.

Q: How do you wash this? Will it be loose or lost stretch after wash?

The product description said that this should be hand washed and hang dried, my shirt is still in good condition after 3 times wash without being loose, provide good compression as usual.

Q: Does it make you sweat or make you look skinny? I’m only looking to look slimmer not sweat

It's more for looking slimmer. It's not so much like a neoprene vest, it's a more breathable material. Not to say it your exercising it won't make you sweat a bit but for everyday wear to an office job in the ac, it won't make you sweat.
