So, when I initially received this, I was concerned - it looked like a pile of mush. I took it from the package and shaped it . . . and? It's the first TRULY packable travel hat I've ever had! It can lay FLAT on the bottom of your bag and when you arrive at your destination, you un-smoosh it, shape it and you're ready to go! It has an unstructured look that I'm not sure is accurately reflected in the photos, but you can shape it easily to your preference!

It looks weird on me -- pointed at the top so looks like a witch's hat made of straw -- but it's not made of straw -- i's made of paper. It's too small for me which makes it look even weirder on my head. Live and learn I guess.

Fit great, was terrific in the hot sun, let just a smattering of light in but protected my face from burning in the direct sun while gardening. Love it!

Pretty cute, but the flops fell pretty awkwardly. Never wore it.

Bought for my adult daughter who has a small head and it was way too small.
