came exactly as expected
Very nice little spice holder, beautiful wood, lid fits nice. Very happy.

Top grain does not match the bottom
The piece is nice, but the lid wood grain is a different shade and does not match the bottom piece like the product photo- I would not buy again because of this.

Beautiful Olive wood spice jar with lid
This is an elegant jar with a beautiful well fitting lid. Perfect for spices. I especially appreciate prompt Customer Service response to a delivery question. Excellent product, excellent delivery, excellent customer service relationship. What more is there?

Not as described at all.
There was supposed to be a lidded jar but there was no lid. The item is rough sanded and doesn't look like it's been treated with anything it just seems unfinished. If it had the lid and was sanded smooth and had even a little protectant it would be a beautiful piece. Very dissatisfied.

Olive wood salt container
I ordered one and the lid was not with it so I ordered another and still no lid. The pic shows a lid. So even though it is beautiful I’m sending this one back as well. Olive wood is just so beautiful.

Unique Pieces
Very beautiful. Ever piece is different so mine was much lighter than the picture, but overall very happy with the quality, size, and everything.

It's beautiful, however...
This is a beautiful piece. It would have received 5 starts except there was something stuck on the bottom inside that looked like dried wood putty. There was a lot, but most came off with some significant scrubbing. I wish I had taken a picture before I started washing it. You can see a small amount in on of the photos and some on the outside of the top.I will work on it some more, let it dry and then rub it with mineral oil.I'm sure it will be fine, but you don't expect to have this issue on a brand new item.I will try and add a picture when it has been oiled. **updated picture after it was oiled twice. The product is very "thirsty" it may take a few coats of mineral oil, but it improves the look immensely after hand-washing before use.

Gorgeous
These spice jars are incredibly beautiful! The lids aren't a tight fit so they're good for dried herbs and sea salt. Also they need to be oiled so you can also get the food grade mineral oil from Thirteen Chefs. I actually ordered some for my mom and almost couldn't part with them!
