This was perfect! Just enough to cover the basics. Great value for the price.
Only tiny complaint would be the magnets could be a tad bit stronger. Some struggle to hold a piece of paper up. Again, that's not their intended purpose so that's my only issue. Otherwise, these are just what the doctor ordered and a great deal for what you pay!

OK, but small and poorly proportioned.
I bought these for my 3.5 yo granddaughter, who does know her upper case letters quite well, but not lower case. The UC letters are a decent size, but the lc are rather small, and are thus a choking hazard for baby brother (almost 2.) I knew the minute I saw the container size that they had to be very small for all the pieces to fit. I suspect I will have trouble getting them all back into the container, in which case I will use separate holders for UC, lc, and #s/symbols. These will stay at Grandma’s for now, until I can make a portable magnetic board from scrap galvanized sheet and an old picture frame, with sharp edges encased. With that she can use them safely in her bedroom, or elsewhere in the house where her brother can’t get his hands on the small pieces. One part of the hazard for under 3s is the magnet itself. The manufacturer states it is punched in each piece individually without adhesive. It is small and not terribly strong. However, swallowed magnets can be very dangerous, especially the high powered mini variety you can purchase by the dozens on amazon. So I tested the magnet to see how hard it would be for a small child to remove it, and I must say it would be difficult. I could not get my fingernail between the slot and the magnet. Still, young kids are known to get themselves into trouble in unexpected ways, so I’d say you should let small children use these only under good supervision. I would recommend taping over the magnet for good measure, except that the magnet is probably too weak to work through the tape.Overall, I would say these will serve the purpose well enough, although I do have one reservations. The UC and lc letters do not seem well proportioned. I’d rather see the proportion match that of typical text, such as you are reading now. I’ll have to think about whether this is troublesome enough to return these and buy something else.

Very compact storage container with handle.
So happy with this wonderful purchase for my little grandson who is coming to stay this long weekend with us for a few days, the Anzac Day long weekend here in Perth. He loves magnets of any shape, type or kind.I have them arranged on our drinks fridge, there are 2 sets of numbers, & 2 lots of the alphabet, one upper case & the other is lower case.Nice bright colours that children are attracted to.When he goes home I can easily pack them back into the container which has a screw on lid & a nice little handle for small fingers to carry to go into his toy box back in his bedroom here.A super fast transaction, arrived in perfect time which I didn't expect until next week after the long weekend, this makes me so very happy.Highly recommended seller from me with a 5 star rating.

Good for teaching spelling
This magnetic letter set is so fun and a great way for kids to learn how to spell. If your fridge isn’t magnetic you can try the dishwasher instead. These are so lovely we bought 4 more sets.
