Keep the hammock out all season long
This is our second purchase. The first one lasted 10 years! It's so nice to keep the hammock up (and dry) all season long without having to lug it out of the shed every time you want to use it. I was finding it was easier to sit on something else! Now i have the comfort of my nice dry hammock whenever I want it! The straps are adjustable so it stays snug even on very windy days. There was a small opening in one corner (a few missed threads that happened during manufacturing), but it was easier to fix it on my own than to wrap it up and send it back! It's all good!

Seam down the middle leaked
This cover fits our hammock nicely and the three straps keep it on securely. However, after only half a season, just discovered that the center seam is leaking. Not very smart design to have a center seam on something that's supposed to protect from water. Now the hammock is stained. We were better off covering the hammock with a seamless piece of plastic. FYI, when it rains, we remove any collected water same day. Would not recommend for rain, but give it two stars for its protection from debris.-----------------------------Update 7/19/14I received an email back from the company with instructions on how to file a warranty claim. This particular hammock cover has a 3-year warranty. If you would like to submit a warranty claim, we request that the following information be emailed to us for review.1. Your WEB1 or Amazon order number2. A detailed description of the damage and how the damage occurred3. A wide angle picture of the cover on the furniture in its normal environment4. A close up picture of the damaged area of the cover5. The style number and jobber number of each affected cover (both can be found on the tag along the inside seam of the cover. The jobber number will begin with the numbers 10, 11, or 12.)6. Your mailing address if it is different from the one we have on file for your original purchase. What Our Warranties CoverThe Cover Store offers a variety of warranty coverage periods, based on the product category and material collections listed above. For the duration indicated, we warrant our products to be free from material defect, product construction and performance flaws not attributed to normal use.A warranty term begins from the date of purchase and applies to the individual/company named on the The Cover Store invoice. Should we determine there's a defect in the material or our workmanship has taken place within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the cover. We reserve the right to make the final determination on defects. Warranties are not transferable and are a limited liability to the original purchase price of the product. What Our Warranties Don't CoverWhile our warranty programs are very generous, there are areas that are not covered. We encourage you to carefully review the things that are not covered by our warranties so you have realistic expectations of the performance of our protective covers and storage items. These include normal wear from usage, weather-related damage, improper care, alteration, acts of God, misuse or abuse, as well as:* Scratching - occurs from dust & dirt* Fading - a natural reaction to UV rays* Water-Resistance - our covers are not water-proof* Staining - covers block stains, but may discolor from them* Breathability - if not cleaned regularly, can become clogged* Paint Damage - some finishes or re-painted surfaces will react to being covered* Cloudy Surfaces - occur from clogged covers that haven't been cleaned* Color Transfer - covering light color car with dark or bright color coverBasically, the warranty covers nothing you would expect this hammock cover to provide/perform/protect from. If this is important to you, then you might look elsewhere for a cover. The warranty is a joke.

This came quickly and is very easy to put on
It was harder than I expected to find a quality hammock cover. This came quickly and is very easy to put on. It is seamed well so that the shape fits right around the hammock and it has clasps that hold the cover in place underneath to keep it on in any wind. We've had some pretty heavy rain storms this summer and so far the hammock has stayed nice and dry.UPDATE 7/31/17:This is a great cover. Well worth the money. It's been covering my hammock since 2015 and this product has not leaked, ripped or worn poorly. It's kept my hammock dry and safe through winter snow and spring and summer storms. In very high wind storms I've used bungee cords to wrap around the ends of the cover and hammock stand to keep it from blowing off on the corners and that's worked very well. I highly recommend this product to anyone that wants to protect their hammock.

Really covers a hammock and stand
I have a large hammock and big stand always subject to the weather and more nasty bird crap. Never thought of a hammock cover went to Amazon sure enough. Great product fits my large hammock and stand easily and nice straps to secure it. It will keep your hammock clean and dry. Worth the money.

Seam on top lets water right through
This is a very poor design for a lot of money. The cover has a seam right on top, that goes across the entire length of the hammock stand. That seam is not water resistant. Just like a hammock rain water will puddle on this and leak right through the seam.If you are buying this for sun protection, then it's probably ok.But this provides no protection from rain.

Fits great and easy to take off and put on
Fits my hatteras hammock perfectly and straps keep it in place securely. I wish I'd gotten one of these years ago-- should never have to replace the hammock if this cover holds out. My only concern is that the Georgia sun tends to rapidly age plastics-- we'll see how this holds up.

It does the job.
This cover has definitely helped my hammock from getting pooped on by birds. I just wish I could tighten it more around the hammock. All in all, want a bad purchase.

The straps and buckles seal the deal for this cover.
Wasn't a perfect fit for my hammock but I knew that going in. The three buckle straps underneath hold it tight and as I type this it has been getting stormed on for three days straight without budging. It seems pretty well built but I can't speak to how long it will last since I have had it for only a month at this point, although I have no reason to believe it won't last. Very happy with this so far.
