Seems to be made fairly well. Not the best quality, but unlike other poster, everything is in alignment. Air flow works as it should. Im sure you heard the saying of you get what you pay for. Cant expect this to be of the same quality as one that costs twice as much. Haven't fired it up, but I see no reason it will do its job. One star off because of the way manufacturer boxed it. no packing at all. Box was a tight fit around smoker. So had superficial damage to it when I unpacked it. Nothing that wouldn't of accumulated with a weeks worth of use, but when I buy something new I expect it to look new.

I have tended to bees for 39 years, and I cannot remember how many bee smokers I have owned. This one is the best yet, no question. It has 2 qualities I fine most helpful when I'm in the middle of an open hive of 60,000 bees. It's the best built I've had, and once it's lit, it stays lit. They're called smokers. This one understands what it's supposed to do. It's really good smoker.

I wanted a big smoker to work all of my hives and stay lit for several hours and this is it. It works well and seems to be very durable. The only negative, which may turn out to be positive later, is that the lid does not seal tight so smoke puffs out around the base of the lid in addition to the cone and sometimes falls open on its own. Some of my other smokers are much tighter and hard to open. Once it gets all gummed up it may be just right, time will tell. I do like the size and the amount of fuel that it holds. The bellows work well and seem to be made of leather instead of vinyl which I think will hold up much better long term.

Best smoker I've bought and I would guess I've been thru about 15. Love the battery powered ones but they don't last a month.Bigger is better, much easier to keep lit. This one the insert fits perfectly, it's actually hard to get out, but when you drop it in it doesn't flip over like the poorly made ones do. The size allows more fuel while not compacting it, which makes it hard to keep lit. It produces more smoke, lasts longer and stays lite better than any other smoker I've tried and the price is great.

Smoker housing is ok but the bellow is way below good

Love this. It’s big and very well made. If you need a large smoker, to do multiple hives, here you go. Not cheap like so many others. The bellows are soft suede type leather and work great.
