Updated 8/18/17I tried going back to my previous brand of pads after having issues with the Mintfoot pads staying in place while running (At 11 miles, the pads would slip slightly on the slick insole material which is fairly damp/wet at that point). However, I found that my old brand of pads didn't stick any better to my new insoles. Worse yet, the other brand felt like rocks in my shoe compared to the comfy Mintfoot pads.So, I went back to the Mintfoot pads... While I can't recommend this for everyone, I found that applying hot glue on my insoles gave the pads something to stick to. I didn't use the glue to glue the pads down but instead give them a better surface to stick to. That trick kept them in place for several runs - 30 or more miles. I just purchased new insoles which the Mintfoot pads seem to stick to without the hot glue trick.Original Post (3 star):Perfect size for my foot. Unfortunately they don't stick to my insoles that well. If I'm extremely careful putting my foot in my shoe they won't slide and they seem to stay in place while running. I would love them if they were a bit more sticky like my last brand which I needed to scrape off. These Mintfoot Felt Metatarsal Pads have maintained their mild tackiness even after re-sticking them on the insole dozens of time for running where they get fairly damp (I just want to stick them on once and forget about them). My insoles are: Sof Sole Fit Performance High Arch Shoe Insole for Men.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received these pads. I used to get metatarsal pads from my podiatrist since I have a Morton's Neuroma and these provided relief. I took a chance since I was buying since without actually seeing them.These are well made, provide enough cushioning without being bulky and the sticky back stays firmly put. To add icing to the cake. I got bonus pads:)If your podiatrist recommends metatarsal pads, I highly recommend these.

Too thick!

Item as described. Really helps to keep your foot from sliding forward in dress shoes which takes pressure of the toes.
