ThinOptics Keychain Case and Readers Rectangular Reading Glasses

Who's out there is getting old and feeling badly about needing reading glasses?!?!
I was fortunate to not need reading glasses until I was in my mid 40s. When the day came, I looked at the options out there, and I have to admit that I wasn't really excited about any of the reading glasses that I was able to find. One day at lunch a friend of mine, who happens to be quite trendy on the fashion front, went to pay the bill and pulled out a pair of these glasses. I thought they were the coolest thing and was eager to find out where he got them. That was a couple of years ago, and I have used these glasses thousands of times since then. They never fail to amaze me as they are designed so perfectly. People constantly see them and ask if they could take a closer look as they really are ingeniously designed. I've used these glasses all over the world, and it's extremely handy to have glasses that take up so little space. Now I have several pairs of these glasses and could not possibly recommend the more strongly to anybody who needs reading glasses.

Oh wow
They work really well and super light weight. Can take on long bike ride and be able to read my phone if stranded, puncture etc. Awesome 👍

Small, lightweight, convenient
These are very small and excellent for carrying when a full size glasses case is too bulky in my active summer clothing. The fit on the nose is light, which is great in a restaurant but not so great if it's windy. However, these are perfect for short tasks, like reading menus and looking at my phone indoors in a pinch. I'm going to purchase a second pair.

Work Great
These worked great when I had a recent surgery on the side of my head and it was painful to wear readers. I tried breaking an arm off of cheap readers, but they annoyingly fell sideways. These stayed on my nose really well and allowed me to read and scroll o my phone while recovering. They would also be convenient to store in a purse, glove compartment, travel bag or even a pocket.

Very handy
These are great to keep in your pocket and pull them out when needed like at a restaurant to see the menu. The pop out easily, flex out and clamp to the bridge of your nose. The "grit" that aids in gripping to your nose is a little aggressive but not bothersome at all. The hold great and you're able to move your head without them falling off. They, at times, can be a little difficult to get back into the case. I found that at the top of one of the lenses is etched "Thin Optics" if I keep that etching to the right side as I slide them back into the case, I have about a 90% chance they'll slide right in. If not they have a tendency to jamb as they slide in.

Ouch
I bought this so I could read things, like menus and phone messages, while wearing my single vision contacts. The item is pretty cool but I can’t for the life of me get it to stay on my nose. Nose grips are scratchy and poorly made. The few times I got it to grip on my nose it was painful and left me with scratches on my nose ridge. It is lightweight, portable and folding mechanism is neat but basically I have to hold the lenses the whole time which is bothersome. Certainly not worth the money IMHO.

We both use these key chains now!
The item arrived on time and undamaged. I ordered two of these handy key chains; one for me, one for my partner. We're both in that fun phase of middle age where a restaurant receipt in a low-light restaurant setting is like trying to read glyphs on a cave wall in by torch light. He is not a fan of the pince-nez concept, and was initially resistant in fear of being judged and tortured by his squad. However, he's in the trades and the feature he resisted was trounced by the convenience of having them along for every ride in the car. On the job, it spared him several trips to his truck for his cheaters to read dusty fuse boxes in basements. Now, he wants my set as a backup. Not gonna happen. The key chain case is not too bulky. Putting the glasses back in the key chain does take some finesse and practice, but is very easy once you give it a few practice runs.I had a Sofia Vergara set of similar specs that folded into a credit card sized case that never made it into my wallet or purse. There's no way to leave home without these. The price is right and you'd never know the lenses are plastic when you use them. It's convenient and surprisingly sturdy quality. Definitely a great value and I'm glad we both have them on hand.

Great portable readers
Love the fact that these can easily slip into a pant pocket and I barely know they are there. They work great and have saved me in the dark restaurant menu situations frequently. Not meant for long wear as they will either eventually slip off or will be uncomfortable (nose piece has a grit to keep on your face). This, for me isn't a problem as I only need them occasionally.

Great!
Small and handy.Easily fits in a pocket for easy use.Can be pulled out quickly for any reading needs.Plastic around the nose area can be a little sharp so can't wear them for too long.

Folding glasses take up no space in your handbag
This amazing pair of glasses folds away in to a tiny case for safe storage. They slip in to handbag or pocket very easily and don't take up much space. The glasses only deploy if you use the central sliding button, so they won't fall out and rattle around. The glasses are tiny and very lightweight and grip gently on to your nose, you do forget you are wearing them. These are genuine thin optics version and so are more expensive but are lasting well unlike the much cheaper unbranded versions available elsewhere. My only feedback for the manufacturer is a dedicated lens cloth would be a valuable extra and prolong the life of the lenses.
