BioSkinAFTR DC Wrap-around Ankle Brace to Reduce Swelling and Speed Recovery - (M – L)

I was introduced to this type ankle brace by a woman at my physical therapy session. I ordered the brace because she told me her doctor recommended it to her. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but the brace is very uncomfortable especially in my heel and right toe area. I originally ordered an x-large because some comments said the sizes run small I returned it and now have a large. If I do not wear a shoe, the brace feels good. My difficulty occurs with heel and toe pain from the brace when I put on a shoe. The pain while wearing my shoe defeats the purpose of the brace for me.

needed to wear this for almost a year after a severe injury and needed surgery. keeps the foot from turning inward. had to buy larger sized shoes because my old pair were too tight for this brace. this brace prevents pain associated with turning the foot certain ways. I would not buy this product online simply for 'foot or ankle pain.' this item was given to me by my podiatrist. she taught me how to wear it. I bought this item on amazon after the original one had fallen apart after 6 months of constant wear. it is difficult to drive with the brace on.

I shattered my ankle ...14 screws, a 4 inch plate, 2 bolts through my ankle and 2 long pins. At 2 1/2 months now. I have tried walking boots, ankle supports (soft boots). The is the BEST by far. Yes it is expensive ...but completely worth it. I am going to buy another for my non injured foot to use while hiking.

The ankle brace is deliver as described, the brace is a life changer for me, I can walk again!

Complicated and it comes apart... I don't have time for it. Should return it, but I probably won't as that is a lot of trouble. I don't care for it at all...
