RYOBI R18GG-0 ONE+ Cordless Grease Gun (Bare Tool)

Good price and works well

I am now the envy of my engineering colleagues, this grease gun is simply excellent to use. A particularly thick adhesive grease we use takes 200 strokes on a manual grease gun (that's what the apprentice tells me!). This unit emptied the tube in just over 30 seconds and with a 5Amh battery went through over 12 tubes with over 20% life left in the battery. It is very well made and solid in construction, the unit is pretty much self-priming and you can hear the change in motor noise when it either picks up suction or runs empty. When the pressure reaches the nozzle/nipple, the nozzle grips very securely with no leakage. When changing grease types, simply insert a new cartridge and the unit flushes the previous product through in seconds.As a career mechanical engineer, this is one of the best pieces of equipment I have come across. Highly recommended indeed.

I bought this grease gun as basically my other "Brand name" gun was struggling with some jobs I used it on ie forklift mast pivots etc, and as I already own three Ryobi items impact gun , drill, and disc cutter/grinder all of which are brilliant.. I have yet to test on a machine but I will say it came out of the box primed with grease, This made it easy to fit a new grease tube and away! the motor is stronger than other one.. so I expect it to perform better.. Update: After using this for the last few weeks on various Forklifts I am very pleased with its performance! very powerful pushing grease though some stubborn grease points! This unit is so much better than my other brand 18v power greaser with the added plus of using any of my Ryobi + batteries!update have use the gun for a while now and so far very happy with it and performed well at all times. loads new cartridges fine without having to prime etc.
