I had another tech mat by a different company previously and it just didn't hold up very well when I would clean my guns. The Falko tech mat on the other hand has held up great. I've cleaned my Colt M4 a few times on it and my various handguns and it hasn't stained at all. None of the AR15 diagram has worn off of become faded. It has a very nice high quality feel to it. The picture is not accurate. Springs on one spot look like a spring and others that are the same do not. #8 & #25 on graphic are supposed to be the same. #65 & #64 are backwards in description. #60 firing pin retaining pin shows as a spring. The list goes on. Mat is ok for keeping your table from getting nicked, but do not use for reference or training.

I used this mat as a gaming mouse pad and it's the best mat I've used so far. There's a lot going for this mat that other "gaming" extended mouse pads doesn't offer. It's much more durable, thicker and resistant to liquids and oils which will help with the longevity of this mat looking clean. The texture provides a buttery smooth feeling but it provides enough friction that doesn't make the mouse feel like it's on an air hockey table. Very controllable and precise. I was able to get a %80 surface recognition with this mat with my Avior 7000 mouse, a much better score compared to the highly praised SteelSeries mouse pad which had a %30 surface recognition. Lettering/schematics doesn't protrude out, keeping it flush and smooth. The mat itself is also a lot thicker and heavier than I expected, It's almost three times thicker than my SteelSeries mouse pad which ads a really nice place to rest your wrists on. Back of the mat provides a lot of friction, so no slippage or sliding. There is one issue that gun enthusiast might want to lookout for and that's scratches. My Steelseries pad is much more scratch resistant than the Falko's mat (as seen in the photo's), so you might want to be slightly cautious when cleaning your fire arms because you might leave a deep scratch. However, there's nothing to worry about if you're using this as a mouse pad.Overall, I highly recommend considering looking into this mat for gaming use. There's a lot this offers that other "gaming" pads doesn't.

From the moment I took this mat out of it's shipping tube and watched it lay flat on my couch without having to lay heavy books on it, I knew I had a winner.It's thick, plushy, and just the right composition and size for my needs. I couldn't ask for more in a mat like this, I just couldn't, (except maybe a little bigger). It's easily worth more money yet it's affordably priced so anyone can buy one.I've seen mats that were pretty and looked nice but they were thin and you'd play hell just getting it to lay flat like it's supposed to and that just sucks. The first item that arrived came in a damaged and defaced storage tube (with have-removed stickers that we're scribbled over with a marker; ...looked like junk) and was very, very difficult to reclose due to the top rim having been damaged. The storage tube was practically unusable unless one wanted to spend 5 or more minutes every time... to replace the lid. The first mat received also appeared used; the edges were worn and the product didn't look like it appears in the listing photos. It also smelled like it had been used. Thankfully, I effectively exchanged the item for a new one and the new product was fine. Though the storage tube was a bit scuffed and the lid somewhat flimsy, the tube opens and closes and the new mat actually appears new and nice. With the exchange effected, I can now recommend this product.

This is a very nice gun cleaning mat. Thick, well made and the lettering and picture on it is clear, not printed blurry and it comes with a very nice tube to store it in. Typically, when products are a “value” their quality is at a “value” level, but this item is of great quality. I had just purchased a handgun cleaning mat from a different supplier and while decent, that mat is half the thickness and the printing is not nearly as good. Not only will I use it for cleaning, but it will serve as a great mat to place on the hood of my Jeep, protecting it, while I’m plinking in the desert. I will not hesitate to order another one and will certainly do so.

Bought this for my house, because we love shooting guns. The graphics are very clear, and the pad is extremely absorbent. Which is good because my roommate can get a little too generous with the gun grease sometimes. It kept it's portion of the gun bench VERY clean, and continues to be useful. It's thick and have a soft surface, and has enough grip to keep things from sliding around and scattering to the far reaches of the world. And like I said very absorbent. If this thing ever gets beat beyond recognition I'll definitely buy another but a year in and it's still holding up GREAT!

This gun cleaning mat is an exceptional value. The mat is made of heavy duty and thick material so when I took it out of the container it lad very flat. It has a good thickness to it. The print quality of the AR is very legible and the diagram was extremely accurate. The storage container is of high quality as well. I should get many years of use out of this product. I would highly recommend this product for its quality and accuracy of the diagram and the printing of the nomenclature of the the AR PLATFORM. THANK YOU..
