On her 16th birthday, Nicole was presented with a guitar. That was the day it all began. Nicole has been writing songs ever since. Unlike a large amount of current bands, Nicole doesn't sing to impress people with cute, trite, fabricated songs; she sings from the heart. Every song is sincere and loaded with emotion, and she really tries to make you feel where she's coming from. That's what music should be about. Her music has been influenced by: Barenaked Ladies, Guster, Neil Young, Jewel, Mike Nesmith, Kevin Hearn & Thin Buckle, and just about everything else. The music does not try to imitate these artists, but improve upon a structure they've set forth. Nicole's music is very enjoyable becuase it comes from everyday events. These are the songs that you wish you wrote, because you know you've felt it at some point or another.
