Unique Loom Sofia Collection Area Rug - Salle Garnier (5' 3" x 8' Rectangle, Black/ Ivory)

Color was spot in and size was perfect for my dining room.

Just as it appears in the picture, and looks great in my living room.

I have older dogs so I don’t want to spend a lot on carpets or cleaning them so this will do for now

Really like the colors and size of the rug. Ends are all stitched down well and nothing was shedding. Had to give 4 stars instead of 5 because it was horribly rolled/partaillyfolded on itself in the middle of the roll leaving creases in the middle of the rug that luckily did not permanently affect the pile or its ability to lay flat. Had to work those creases out a couple different ways and it was not as simple as rolling it the opposite direction or laying it out upside down for a few days. The sub par rolling technique of the manufacturer/seller was not appreciated and delayed usage but otherwise it was a solid purchase and works great in my room.

This is a pretty rug. Looks more expensive than the price. Unlike other reviewers, mine was not folded, but wrapped around a cardboard cylinder. There are only 2 noticeable wrinkles. I plan to steam them out. I placed weights on the corners after I laid it on the floor. I would purchase again.

I’ve had this rug since 2018. I have not been kind to it. Cats, dogs, kids have all been on this rug, played on this rug, tried to scratch this rug. We’ve dropped hot torches on this rug, ironed and singed this rug, and moved this rug from room to room and from house to house. We’ve been abusive to this rug for 4+ Years and it still looks brand new. No kidding. No fake review, no paid review, I just love and have been so happy with this rug. It’s so bright and vibrant and changes the look of a room effortlessly. I’ve bought navy and yellow curtains and furniture to accent it and if we ever truly destroy it I’ll be buying a new one.

Pro’s:So easy to clean that it is shocking. Our front yard has clay mud in places and we’ve had a number of people (mostly kiddos) come in with so their shoes on and tracked it onto our carpet 😖 but to my surprise I’ve been able to get it out every single time in minutes with nothing but baby wipes. My 3.5 year old recently got “sick” on the rug and I was able to get it cleaned off with a basic multi surface cleaner and a rag (mind you he’d eaten a chocolate protein bar prior to said incident). Considering the color of this rug I’m shocked at the ease of removing what I’d assume would end up being stains!The color is great and very much fits the style of our living room and brightens the area as I’d hoped it would.Con’s:The packaging as mentioned by others is not great. I would’ve expected a box rather than just a taped up rug.It does smell terrible like chemicals.There are some serious wrinkles.Thankfully despite the wrapping, the rug wasn’t damaged in transit.Regarding the chemical smell and wrinkles- we have a covered porch so I took the rug and rolled it the opposite direction (as suggested) and left it outside on the porch for about 24hrs to air out. This made a drastic difference in smell and decreased the wrinkles significantly.As seen in a couple of the pictures there’s a few kinks still left in the rug after two months of owning it, which yes is annoying for someone who’s particular about such things. I’ve laid weights and furniture on the areas but haven’t had any luck in getting the areas to relax. I’m guessing they likely won’t go ever away. But if anyone has any tips please share!All in all, I’m glad we purchased it. Great price and worth overlooking the few remaining creases.

I was actually shocked how stylish the rug came out. It complimented the room. The quality seems to be very good and I’ve been cleaning it without any concern.

OK so here’s the thing about this rug. First off it’s gorgeous, good quality and an amazing price. But what is interesting about it is depending on the angle you look at it from it looks completely different. When I first laid down this rug I did not like it as it looked more brown than cream. I was debating on returning it. Then my son who was looking at it from a different angle on the other side of the room said it looked more white than brown. So after reviewing it from all angles I realized that this was true (as you’ll see in the photos I’ve posted). So we decided to flip the rug so that when you enter our home you see it more as a white rug versus brown. This odd illusion also explains the various review photos and why they look so different. Overall I’m beyond happy with this rug. I purchased the 9 x 12 and it’s absolutely huge. You won’t find a rug for this price in this size. It does have a little bit of wrinkling. It has been a few weeks now some have flattened but there are still some wrinkles in the rug. Bur it is nothing that affects its look and I think in time and regular use those wrinkles will continue to loosen up. It’s been easy to clean and doesn’t seem to hold stains. Definitely would buy this again and have already recommended it a couple times.

Es gab bei uns keinen störenden Geruch.Optische ist er eigentlich noch schöner als am Bild. Der Teppich ist sehr hell zwischen dem blau. Ich mache ein Bild.Wir haben diesen Teppich im Kinderzimmer und er eignet sich gut zum barfuß Tanzen.Schöner weicher Teppich hat mich überrascht
