State Bicycle Co. 700x23c Bike Tire Set (Set of 2)

I do about 50-80 miles a week commuting and grocery grabbing. I put these on 6 months ago and they seem to have some tread left, maybe another 4 months. These tires dont have much TPI. In the past,I have had the threads push their way out of sidewalls on similar quality tires unexpectedly. So maybe a year at best for these, which for the $ is ok. These are kinda skimpy tires, but handle well enough, unless you happen to be a bike snob.Update: 8 months after install, tires ok, sure they are kinda thinner now, but resist punctures well enough as any lightweight tire. At 110 psi they get a little bumpy/distended looking (due to the low TPI), but any more psi and they would be very uncomfortable to ride. So, yeah, these tire got a real good value for cost ratio.

My 700x23 tires were well molded. They went on with a fight, like new tires should, but ended up seating perfectly. I don't have many miles so I don't know how they wear but for now they are running great.

I originally had given these tires a very bad review because I erroneously thought the color had rubbed off during the first ride. As it turned out the streets around my neighborhood are just super dirty and made it APPEAR as though a black tire had been revealed all down the center by light friction instantly. Later I took it out after a storm, and the wet roads cleaned the tires off and they're still blue, my bad.SO, if you get these and it seems like the color gets completely scratched off, they're probably just dirty. Most people might make that assumption first. I don't know most people.I've gotten a few spontaneous compliments on my bike since I put the blue tires on: I know it's about the tired because NOBODY ever said a word to me about the bike in the time I've had it (6 months) then the last few weeks it's turning heads. In a positive way! Good choice, except people might also be more motivated to steal it now. Guess we'll see. So far no thievery. *knocks on wood with crossed fingers*I DO recommend these tires and I'm sorry for bashing them prematurely. Although I did believe I had been swindled into buying trash, so I really was just trying to warn people which I think was a nice thing to do.THE END(as long as the tires don't turn out to be crap, I've only had them a week or two so we'll see)

So I saw the other single red tires like this and thought these were red too and ordered them by mistake. Like an hour or so later I check again and caught my mistake. Tried to cancel the order. They took the money out of my account. They then refused to cancel shipment and it shipped out in the next day. Now I'm trying to return them and they are charging me about $10 of my own money to return an item I tried to cancel before they even shipped it. I didn't think "state bicycle co" would be that difficult.The tires themselves are pretty basic and would work for a daily commuter however I will not use them on principle now.

These tires make my Look Bicycle look classic and sleek. I've already put a lot of miles on them and they respond wonderfully.

Misleading title. It says tire set. I only received one. Upon recieving, the tire was twisted and mangled to fit in a small box. I would give lower stars If I could.
