Good unit - meshing is difficult
The device is pretty good, it has good range and has increased our wifi output significantly from the old router. I now get 600+mbps.The issue is that I have lost so many hours of my life trying to mesh this new router with a few of my other linksys routers. The linksys support desk is super responsive but after my 10th service ticket I lost the will to live.I paid a guy to come and do it and after a few hours he worked it out...So my message is, if you think you can set this up on your own - think again !

Good replacement router
Had a down router and apparently it was more than 7 years old and Linksys no longer provides support for routers that old.Found this. First it is relatively cheap ( compared to others more expensive with many of the same features, so I thought). Good coverage on a basic 2 level Ranch style house. The only problem is during set up. Now I have 2 routers I maintain but they are set up the same. It says quick easy setup. After a hour and 3 router resets I was able to get this working. This router doesn’t have a separate 5 gb account- just the regular 2ish gb ( which I didn’t know).Fortunately , the other house doesn’t use the higher gb speed-> so I just manually setup the router with just the one account and had it up and going in a few minutes after.Overall, if you want a basic home WiFi router- buy this.

What I Needed
My old router would cease working once 200mbps would come into the house. My ISP provides super fast, reliable internet. I pay for 500+ mbps. I purchased this Linksys router and it has solved the speed problem. Setup was easy. It took about 45 minutes from unboxing to enjoying high speed internet. Setup was easy. The phone app did all the work. The device os not bulky. It is small and sleek. It has it's place on the top shelf of my shelving. The signal travels all through the two-bedroom house, the back yard, and almost all the way to the carport, which is pretty far away. Newer routers are too expensive for me, but this one was the right price. Excellent value.

Solid Speed & Steadfast Connection!
I swapped routers a couple of times before landing on this one, whenever I shop around for routers I end up using LinkSys.Pros:Speeds reach listed specificationZero connectivity issues (beyond solid, even Apple TV that has been bugging out on my Vizio TV stopped having issues, this being the 5th router I tried)Parental Control is built in and not an external paid subscriptionI can add on more coverage as it's a mesh and I'm only using the main router, with excellent coverage everywhere.Cons:I'm still waiting on one. Conclusion:Buy it!PS. I tried using a Tri-Band router "since wow it has 2 5GHZ bands", but it just messes with everything rather than that it helps. It basically confuses itself, either due to airwave congestion or poor programming despite being WiFi-6.
