I have been through several memory foam toppers in last 6 years that always claimed a higher density, to find out in real life use, not so much *until* now. This is truly 5lb density and the firm type of support I require for my degenerative disc disease and body cradling I also require for my peripheral neuropathy. This is a high quality product and it had really no noticeable smell and I am rather sensitive to such off-gassing. I would have to say this is indeed the closest to the brand name type of memory foam such as Tempurpedic, at a fraction of the cost, and made in USA. Win/Win.I recycled my old 4" Queen memory foam topper by using all of it to replace the aged cushions in my large sofa, so it's like I have a brand new old sofa now as well. Cool! Just buy this USA Made topper, it's way better than all the other offerings out there. Thanks Amazon, for offering great products. Happy back and body here.

Queen size was purchased for guest bedroom in June 2016 . When I changed sheets March 27, 2017 topper was torn through for at least 1 foot on the right side of bed. For the cost this is not acceptable. I would not buy another.

AWESOME product at a great value! At first I was skeptical because the weight of the item was not in the description and the weight on the shipping order was less then what it should have weighed for 5.3lb density foam. After inquiring with the company and weighing the package when it arrived, I found out that they pay a flat rate for the package and it indeed weighed more then the shipping order stated. It was the correct weight for 5.3lb density memory foam. It is just over 8 cubic feet of foam and the actual weight was 42+lbs. This had absolutely NO SMELL like you hear with some foams. It obviously has an odor, but it is nothing offensive, very light and can only be smelled when you put your nose to it and it doesn't fill the room. It is equal in quality to a Tempurpedic as I have one to compare it to. If you are looking for a foam topper with a density and feel of a Tempurpedic or other high 5.3lb density foam, then this is the best vaule on the web.

I got this and could barely drag it in the door it was so heavy. However that is a good thing. A high density topper is supposed to be heavy. I ddin't smell any off-gassing even though the instructions said I might so I was able to put it on my bed the first night. It puffed up to 3 inches in no time. It really is a high density topper. It is high quality as well. I only wish I had gotten the 4 lb because I think this would be better for a heavier person.]It fits the bed perfectly.I would buy it again in 4lb density if I could, but I am happy with my purchase.

Smells absolutely terrible. The whole room smelled like a chemical spill. No way could I sleep on this or even return it.

Quality product! Odor is very subtle the first few days; no odor after that. This product is heavy as it should be. A fully grown man will have no trouble handling it; just don't tear it! Light grey was the color I received, and that was not a problem.Caution: Visco Elastic Memory Foam really attracts body oils, dirt, etc. MAKE SURE FOAM TOPPER IS PROPERLY PROTECTED FROM ENVIRONMENT!

Shipped quickly, packaged well, low odor. This is the first foam that I have used that is supportive without allowing me to sink in and get "stuck" if you've ever tried a bad foam. I weight 250lbs, 5-6" and suffer from chronic back pain. This foam is exceptional for side lying as well as lying on your back! Price point is great!
